Great proofing box!
Excellent stacking, lidded proofing box. Not just for pizza. I prefer using this box to cold proof rectangular blocks of sourdough, ie. for ciabatta rolls, etc.

Very well made professional dough proofing box.
I have been making pizza and dough for years. Always made pizza same day as dough was made. Now with higher gluten flours it makes sense to proof the dough for more crunchy outside crust and soft inside, for at least 2 days. These proofing boxes are superb for that. Don't know why they cost as much as the larger boxes but these work great in my refrigerator. The dough came out PERFECT! No skin on it and the dough was supple, easily workable and I was able to toss it without any problem at all. Highly recommend for those who want a true Neapolitin pizza. L'oro Del Sol are very nice and very professional. Single cover is not an issue. You can make plenty of dough with just one but if you have a party the second box will be just as good. It does help to have a pizza oven so you can bake at 650 to 750 degrees,

It’s the lid and the proofer total, not two proofers
After reading the description multiple times, and it showing that the price is $20 each I thought I was getting two of these proofers, I wouldn’t have drooped $40 bucks on a single one, when it came I went and looked it up and read the description repeatedly, kind of disappointed, but that said, it is very well made, heavy duty and will definitely last a lifetime. I reckon the price showing $20 per item meant the proofer and the lid for the proofer. Funny thing is I’ve bought other proofers that were discounted because you got a pair of them, none of those priced them at $20 each. Quality product, confusing add, hopefully my wife will find it worth the investment.

Solid, sturdy-- an asset to any home baker or pizza maker who needs to proof a lot of dough
I needed a couple of proofing boxes for the Neapolitan pizza dough I make at home. Reviews on some of the other options complained about warping, but it's easy to see in the photos that these are incredibly well reinforced to avoid that issue. Someone else mentioned that they are built like tanks and that is not an exaggeration. I make dough balls that tend to run between 250 and 280 grams, and can easily fit in five or six balls per box. The boxes are deep enough that sometimes getting that first dough ball out of the box with a flexible spatula can be a challenge, but that's a minor issue. I will likely try using these the next time I am making a large quantity of sourdough bread that needs to proof a long time on the counter or in the refrigerator, but if I only ever use them for pizza dough I will still consider it money well spent.

Restaurant quality proofing boxes!
I initially bought four of these trays and they are outstanding! Commercial grade, freezer safe and top notch quality. I just purchased another two boxes for bulk proofing and you do not need to wrap the container with plastic. Just sit the lid on, pop the tray into the fridge and you're done. I could not be happier!
