Under that is a white plastic lid that I think is held in place by vacuum. What I did was take a pin and inserted it under the very outside edge to let in some air and that did it. That white lid I just threw away as I had to use the pin to get off each time. The Olay cream is a very good product from my opinion. **Q: Is the whipped version lighter than the original?** A: A titch lighter but it goes on much smoother. I feel they would work together if you have fine lines and/or drying skin. If you're going to buy one, I'd start with the Regenerist Whips.
