Pros: sturdy construction, appealing and color was as expected (I bought the full size beige).Cons: the drawers are not on rails to stop flush with the bed.Details: I was pleasantly surprised at the construction. It is durable and well crafted for the price point. The instructions are a vague, but the only confusing part was know the different bolt sizes. It looks great assembled and only took me two hours with a power drill.Tips for assembly: separate all components and lay them out in order of number according to the instructions. For those who don't know, the M8 bolts are fatter than the M6. Pay attention to quantity of each item which will help in deciphering what is what.According to the photos I took, the M8s are all used in the main framing.M6s are used for the slats that go from front to back. There will be some ridiculously long M6 bolts which will go in the slats toward the back of the daybed. If you put them in the front facing slats they will impede the drawers.When installing the slats that have the black cap on each end, you will have to bend the wood a bit to get them to fit into the holes on both sides. My purchase came with an extra black cap thankfully because one was broken (see picture).After bed assembly, the instructions tell you how to put together the drawers. This is where the wood screws come into play. The super stubby screws are for the wheels. No need to pre drill holes.The funny looking screws with a plastic middle piece are only used on the drawer faces.Again, overall, easy assembly, definitely goes faster with a drill. I am pleased with how it turned out! Hope this review helps.

We received our bed on time and the communication from SmartDer was great. They advised soon after purchase that bed would be shipped in 2 boxes and they verified the shipping address explaining they used a third party and wanted to make sure they had correct information to them as the orders for the bed was higher than expected and wanted to reduce any shipping issues. We were notified when the bed shipped and a new estimated arrival time. Received 2 more notices regarding the shipment and finally a note that the packages had been delivered. Very pleased with the communication from the company especially in the scheme of things as this was not a huge purchase price.How easy was it to assemble: well. if assembling beds and such are a regular routine for you -not hard at all. We are not a regular assembly household so the instructions and pictures were a challenge for us in the beginning. Once we understood the washers had 3 hole sizes and how they matched to the screws, it was almost a walk in the park. How could you not know there were 3 different hole sizes? Good question cause when you stacked them, the different hole sizes were not very visible to the novice. All that aside (learning is a wonderful thing!!), it took us about an hour to assemble the bed. It was a very easy assembly looking back at the experience and I would recommend this bed.This bed uses slats to hold the mattress and different from other companies' beds, these slats are attached to the bed frame so you do not have to worry about the slats moving when you add the mattress to the frame or if you move the mattress after inserting it in the frame. Slats are evenly spaced so the support is spread across the mattress.The bed came in 2 boxes and we had no damage to the materials. The pieces were wrapped or braced in the box which left little room for movement to cause damage. I found the bed attractive in the photos and it is just as attractive in person. Overall very pleased with this day bed and downgraded 1 star in the Easy to Assemble section only because I believe they could be more clear for those of us engineering challenged folks.

It is a good solid piece of furniture. looks great! I was able to put it together myself and I am 70. Although an extra pair of hands would have made it easier. Two things I wish they did differently: 1 separate the washers since there are two different hole sizes. 2. Supply a sturdier piece of wood for the drawer bottom. It is quite flimsy. At least it seems so to me. I would buy it again.

I get so many compliments on this bed. It looks expensive and a good quality.

It arrived in 2 boxes and took about a week and a half to deliver. I got the twin size frame and it's true to size. It was easy to put together and fits perfectly in our apartment. The roller storage drawers are very spacious underneath. It has a great weight capacity and and it holds our 8 inch twin size mattress. It's even better if you put a mattress pad on top as well. It looks like the daybed frame is sturdy. The studs are a great touch and it's awesome, thank you!

I love this day bed. Sturdy, good quality. It looks beautiful. Fit in my small room perfectly, accurate description and labeling. It was fairly easy to assemble

It is a budget friendly addition to my home office. I like the way that it looks, and I was able to put it together by myself from start to finish in about 2 hours. It fits perfectly in the space and is more sturdy than I expected given the price.

Looks really nice . Perfect for a small space . Hard to put together ,made cheaply on the bottom . Bottom pieces don't screw in .
