This was totally unexpected. I love it. First it is a very large bottle which probably if I 'd read it says that. The surprise was it smells wonderful. I keep some in a small bottle in my car after I leave the grocery store or a stair well. The first time I used it I was trying to figure out where the wonderful smell was coming from. It doesn't dry my hands out like some do. It isn't real runny like some other brands either.

I ordered Germ-X Advanced Hand Sanitizer 1 liter size, to refill the 16 oz pump bottles I carry in my car. The original product I had ordered had gone up in price to the point that it was no longer affordable. Germ-X is VERY much worth the money spent! In fact, Germ-X is so inexpensive, I was able to buy 2 bottles for less than 16 oz of what I used to buy. Fabulous! Let me tell you about the sanitizer: It is a gel form, not watery at all. The alcohol kills germs while the aloe and vitamin E keep my skin from feeling dried out. The scent is very light and disappears once the sanitizer dries (which happens quickly). This sanitizer leaves behind no stickiness or residue. I like it a lot! The large size is perfect for refilling smaller bottles. I highly recommend!

Great sized bottle, good price, easy to use. It has enough alcohol in it to work well and not too much that it would dry your skin out and has some softeners ingredients in it. It smells really good too. Pump on it makes it easy to use.

I was wary of buying this hand sanitizer for several reasons, though none related to the negative reviews. Germ-X sounds so clinical and not...fun? Or assuring? Despite it literally being advertised as non-drying and moisturizing, I worried it would be, ya know, drying and non-moisturizing. Also, the color reminds me of slime, so I assumed it would be sticky, too, and the color also made me worry that it would have a strong and funky antiseptic smell. It was all a matter of me judging a book by its cover because I am happy to report that none of this was actually an issue at all! This hand sanitizer is, in fact, non-drying. Whether or not it actually moisturizes, I can't confidently say (I always moisturize after sanitizing anyway), but I CAN say that your skin feels perfectly normal after using it. It isn't sticky. It doesn't take forever to rub in. As for the smell, there's definitely the SLIGHT scent of antiseptic that lingers after use, but you have to lift your fingers to your nose and take a hearty whiff to actually smell it. I see a ton of reviews complaining about the bottle arriving poorly packaged and even damaged, but that wasn't an issue for me. In fact, there was tape wrapped so tightly around the area where the cap meets the bottle that it took me a minute or two to really tear it off. I appreciated the lengths the packager went to to prevent spillage. All this to say, if you sanitize often and are looking for a large bottle for home or the office, this is definitely worth the investment. Does the job, non-sticky, non-drying, and mostly scentless!
