However the pieces are quite chunky so it’s whether he/she is able to flick them out of place to retrieve the food. My dogs tend to lift them with their teeth or paw at until they dislodge. I will see if one of my cats can do it! My dog has torn up loads of “indestructible” products but this one is heavy duty. It’s easy to take apart to clean.
