Mary Hen House Chicken Coops (3ft Mary Starter)

Arrived promptly and well packaged. Assembled easily by myself in one afternoon. The nesting box is truly too small for anything but the smallest bantams, but as I bought this to use as a broody coop it was surplus to requirements. Good size for hen and chicks, wouldn't put more than 3 adult hens in it, and only then if they are free range as run would not be big enough for full-time accommodation. Seems solid enough so expect to raise a few clutches in it. Good value for the price.

A lovely little henhouse. Just right for my 2 Rhode Island Red Pullets. I’ve not used the nest box as it will be too small for my birds but it would be ideal for bantams. Very easy to put together

Very beautiful looking design and does the job. I bought it when introducing 2 new hens to my flock to keep them separated as a temporary measure. Love the little slope for hens to walk in and out and very spacious. I have it four stars due to the nesting box partition on the side being unreasonably small - we ended up not adding this as it was a waste of space when it couldn’t be used in this way. Looks great without it though! Another reason for 4 stars (and not 5) is the ease of opening the roof to access eggs as good as my other one and feels a little creaky like the roof hinge may not last long term. But for now, it does the job and looks nice. Happy hens!!

Well made chickens love it

I was a little disappointed in the quality of the wood. Once assembled one of the legs split when moving it. The door is quite fidley to undo as it's flush to the wall and under the roof. And I had thought the roof itself would lift up to make it easier to access the nesting boxes. And on reflection I should have chosen something with a window with some light as it's like a dark box inside. I may utilise it for something else. Personally I thought it a little expensive.

Really good quality hen house for the price. It was easy to build and seemed fairly sturdy. We had to change it for a bigger one, as we needed up with more chickens than originally planned, but probably a good size for 4 chickens (depending on size)

Poor quality - please be warned. This will NOT withstand any predator attack. Sadly we found this out the hard way — the flimsy bottom tray was easily dragged out by a fox and every chicken was killed.

Very disappointed with the quality, with parts already splitting straight from the box. Holes weren't already pre-drilled on some parts. Personally I don't think its value for the money and I have bought numerous different chicken houses over the past few years and this has been the worst. Its only to house a couple of seabrights so the size is fine, but a full size hen wouldn't get in the nest boxes. Would I Recommend it? No. would I buy it again? No. A hinge for the roof would have been appreciated instead of just a couple of screws.

Hochwertiges Produkt, sehr gute Verarbeitung, schönes Holz. Es ist eine Freude, ein Produkt aus Europa. Leider macht es der Brexit unnötig teuer und es ist kompliziert Zusatzteile zu bestellen. Trotzdem 100 mal besser als alles aus China. Top!

Enttäuscht und Preis nicht gerechtfertigt…. Leider Minderwertige Materialien und fehlende Schrauben. Das Dach besteht aus einer dünnen Plastik Hohlkammerplatte. Teilweise haben die Bretter lange Risse, die erstmal geleimt werden mussten. Ebenfalls passt die Anleitung nicht. Dort sind Schrauben abgebildet, die überhaupt nicht mitgeliefert wurden. Die Innenausstattung soll mit jeweils 1 !!! 25 mm Schraube in das viel zu dünne Holz geschraubt werden, dass kann gar nicht halten. Die zwei Sterne vergeben wir nur wegen der große und weil er aussieht, wie ein Stall.
