Owned for roughly 2-3 years. Heres what I have to say. Side note: I have had zero issues realistically with the laptop itself, other than the charging cord went out about after 2 years. I replaced it with some crappy 3rd party cable that did not let me perform any games with high performance whatsoever, however it wad a charger issue not acer themselves. I found a great charger cable for a good price and 1 year later it still runs amazing. The pros: Let me start by saying this, I have a Hyper X Quadcast Mic plugged into this, a external monitor, a controller, a external keyboard, mouse, ethernet cable, webcam and headphones, I stream on this setup every so often at a very solid stream quality with no effect on my gaming performance. To say this laptop is a tank is a understatement! It will handle nearly anything you throw it's way, and as long as you take good care of it, it will take good care of you (reminder to take apart your laptop every few months and dust it out, your welcome :) ). The performance at first felt like it was nothing to write home about but played games very well, I added 32gb RAM to it and also 2TB SSD which has taken its performance even further. It runs a highly demanding game like Grand Theft Auto V at 60 fps on Max Graphical Settings with no hiccups, Doom Eternal, Red Dead Redemption 2 are also good examples as well. It has plenty of USB ports to use, but if you feel you need more, it can take a USB Hub as well. Overall its a breathtaking starter gaming laptop! Cons: The speakers on the laptop arent very good, they are very quiet, however I almost never use them, as I always have headphones in. The starter hard drive is good for starters, but with games constantly getting larger in size, you may want to invest in a HDD or SSD, I reccomend SSD if you want games to load faster! Lastly, the fan can be semi loud on big games, but you can easily quiet it down with a external laptop cooler, it's more of a "whatever you prefer" situation, but it can certainly help maintain. It has more pros than cons, and as long as you take care of it, it will never let you down. Hope this helps!

This is an amazing laptop for what you pay. The RTX 3050 is pretty dang capable and the 12th gen I5 processor is better than the 11th gen I7. There is a caveat that come with the price. First, it only comes with 1 stick of 8 gig RAM. This is pretty much the bare minimum that you can get away with for windows 11. Windows ran and I could even play a few games, but performance is throttled because the memory will be maxed out. There's an extra DIMM to add memory. I would recommend that you buy at least one 8 gig stick of Crucial (this brand is approved to work with Acer) memory (DDR4 3200MHz CL22) and add it to the empty DIMM. It should be pretty cheap. I bought 2 sticks of 16 gig (32 total) for $70 and it's running quick and smooth. Accessing the motherboard to replace the memory was probably one of the easiest laptops I have ever done. I'm also going to replace the M.2 drive with a Crucial T500 1Tb drive. The one it comes with is 500 gigs and the one I'm buying has a faster read/write speed but the drive it comes with is capable. Also, there's 2 M.2 slots to use.

Easily one of the best purchases I've made, I've been using this laptop for more than a year and still manage to do everything perfect, I upgraded the ram and the RTX 3050 that includes is great for gaming even at high graphics, yes it gets hot and it gets loud but it is a laptop so it's no surprising, the performance is great, the materials of the device might not be the most premium but they are durable, Acer does a great job with their products as usual

It’s great for a starting gaming laptop can run mostly all my games i have currently and I also use it for work, there is a slight issue with the screen timing out while it’s plugged in and also running a game, then I would “wake” it up my touching the touch pad then the screen wouldn’t respond sometimes or the mouse wouldn’t track properly until, I Alt+Tab to switch to the home screen real quick. That would usually fix the problem or just restart it

I like the size of the screen and the overall solid feel of the laptop. Its very fast and efficient. The only con Ive found so far is it gets very hot (I do play my game for hours tho) however the built in fans are very effective at the ultra setting and able to cool the laptop down substantially. So far great gaming laptop. Graphics are beautiful BUT screen brightness is lacking a little but not much. Pros- Fast , Efficient, Good Graphics, Loud and clear sound quality. Cons- Temp, Loud fans, Screen could be a tad bit brighter. I got the model that goes for $799 regularly. No regrets with this purchase it does what I wanted it to do.

best laptop i ever owned.

ok i got to make an appointment with this wonderful lap, and it is that... i have trouble with the bluetoth, cuz when i pair my speaker it start to cut the audio like its low of batterie but it is at 100% of batterie, besides that i think everything is good with this laptop, i like the cuality of material they used to made it. only thing is that i need to do is to upgrade the RAM memory, i love my laptop its so sick in games!!1

Bought this product as a gift for someone. One day roughly two weeks later they call me and say the screen glitched out on them. Sure enough the screen was messed up, it looked as if someone dropped it and the screen broke. The only issue is it was never dropped and it just randomly did this so buyer beware. The laptop also run extremely hot and when you have to return it because they gave you a horrible product they are going to charge you a restocking fee even though they sold you a piece....Find a better option before you get this.

Despues de mucho tiempo de haberla comprado, ha ido excelente, todo al 100, no me ha dado problemas y no hizo falta usar la garantia aunqje si recomiendo registrarla en el portal de Acer Mexico si es que se compra en EU

Bueno, esta es mi reseña despues de haber cumplido un año con ella , la verdad es que es muy buen equipo calidad precio, obviamente los primeros meses la bateria duraba bastante e inclusive corria juegos sin dar bajo de fps cuando se requeria demasiado procesamiento. Pero sinceramente corre juegos que yo nunca espere que correria y los correbastante bien, si se calienta un poco pero nada que los ventiladores que tiene no puedan arreglar. Le hice unas pequeñas modificaciones como cambiarle la RAM y agregar otro disco SSD , la verdad es que en el disco segundario intento tener todos mis juegos y a pesar que algunos requieren casi o si estar en el disco principal, la comunicación de datos mediante el cablo que tiene es bastante buena (obviamente no le pidas demasiado, cumple su función y un poco más). Actualmente ya la batería me da hora y media de carga, jugando o un poquito menos , trabajando o para entretenimiendo sin hacer uso de la tarjeta de video me dura entre 2 a 2 hrs y media sin problema alguno. No le he dado mantenimiento y actualmente uno de sus ventiladores y hace un sonido bastante raro, pero considerando que si la he usado con usos forzados y sin mantenimiento considero que es normal, para que siempre esten al pendiente con sus equipos y realicen sus mantenimientos cada 6 meses. En su momento me consto 16.6K, pero por lo que veo sigue siendo la mejor opción para juegos y productividad. Considero que lo unico que cambiaria de fabrica seria el disco, por mas almacenamiento, pero de ahi en fuera, en estetica tiene casi de todo, el hecho de que puedas controlar mediante el NitroSenses las revoluciones de los ventiladores es una pasada. Consideren que tiene el teclado EU, osea no tiene ñ, pero con el tiempo te acostumbras, también puedes colocar ambas configuraciones de teclado y sin problema alguno.
