I bought this as I thought it would clean my bike and leave it with that new bike shine. Does a great job cleaning and is easy to use but no shine is left behind

Quantum Physics Bike Cleanser
Gtechniq's spray-on Bike Cleaner arrived securely packaged in a no-leak bag inside of a box. It was easy to unseal and attach the sturdy, powerful pump spray nozzle. In application, it sprays out with strong, even coverage. On my moderately dirty bike, it did an amazing job of cutting through dirt and grease. I left it on for about 5 minutes and then rinsed with a hose nozzle set to the jet setting. It amazingly removed just about all of the build-up, with just a little dirt in some of the nooks and crannies. Aside from the scratches already there and worn tires, it looks as good as new.I've used Bike Cleaner on my car's rims to good effect. It really attacks and removes brake dust and other gunk. It saves on having to scrub them to death. I guess the high-tech aspect of a company that's a world leader in molecular nanotechnology really pays off! I really like this product and how affordable it is for the amount you get. It is quality that outshines similar products charging twice the amount. One thing to note is that it claims to be "ECOFRIENDLY, NON-TOXIC AND NON-ACIDIC" but has an extensive warning on the label to wear protection and rinse well if you come in contact with the spray. That aside, I'd get it again.A UK based product~ Kort

Works great!
I finally had the opportunity to test this cleaner since the weather hit 65 F in my area first time in 2023 this afternoon. Even though this cleaner comes with a spray, I prefer to clean my bike chain with a special tool (see the photos). This fluid is nearly odorless, far more pleasant than most kitchen degreasers. I wore gloves because, seriously, the mixture of dirty and old grease on a bike chain is really nasty and I don’t want that to get under my fingernails. Some fluid did splash on my skin – it is not corrosive nor irritating to skin. Nevertheless, based on my experiences using household degreasers, it is always a good idea to wear some protective gears. After running the chain through my cleaning tool filled with this fluid a couple times, I could see the initially clear fluid turn black. In fact, it was filled with dirt and grease flakes. The instruction suggests using some specialty fluid to rinse and another specialty clothe to dry. Without either of these products, I proceeded to dry the chain with a rag, following by application of chain oil. I will check in a few days to see whether I’d need to do something differently. The fluid also keeps the chain tool clean. I simply rinsed it with water and let dry. This fluid definitely is much easier and safer to use than the gasoline that my BF still swears by.

Very strongly worded caution label - see picture
This review is for "Gtechniq Bike Cleaner - Spray-On, Fast Acting Cleaner for Oil, Grease and Dirt Removal - Non-Toxic, Biodegradable Bike Cleaning Spray - 1L Can." The bottle and a spray attachment came in a plastic bag.I have to say, based on the listing (which uses phrases like "non-toxic" and "harmless") I was not expecting to see a warning label telling me to wear protective gloves, clothing, eye and face protection. As it is winter here, I am unable to use it on an actual bike, so I tried it on my kitchen sink. (I'd suggest using it outdoors - the fumes aren't horrible smelling but they were a bit strong.) It did a good job of breaking down the grease/oil in the bottom of the sink but didn't do much for the "gunk" that accumulates under the silicone mat. I know this isn't the best test, but it is what I can do right now. Official bike testing will have to wait till April or May.4 stars.
