I had an older model of solar panel with micro adapter port. This gadget worked wonderfully.

Does not charge
This is junk. Hardly any cable fits the STUPIDLY narrow sleeve of the adapter. I tried it with Apple USB-c cable - fits, but would not charge. I tried different power bricks - nothing. I tried the camera with a random barrel cable which accidentally fits the camera and the same power bricks - charge fine. I am Purposely buying usb-c cables of Amazon for this piece of crap. JUNK.

This small item is the perfect piece for the my wireless & solar powers cams.

Can't power the camera directly. It only charges the battery.
The cable itself is quite good. Though I wish Ring specifically called out that this cable can only be used to charge the battery in the camera. It can't be used to power the camera without the battery.

Völlig falscher Stecker
Wenn man sich die Bilder anschaut ist es sehr doll erkennbar. Der Adapter Stecker ist viel zu klein. Der längere ist der richtige. Totaler Müll!!!
