The straps are of good quality. I can recommend them for tying down kayaks. If you are looking for something to tie down two white water kayaks on top of each other, however, they will be too short. That is not the fault of the straps, though, so still 5 stars.

Good quality Northcore straps. The cam buckles are really good. I removed the neoprene covers from the buckles to make it easier to insert the straps in cold weather(my hands don’t work as well in the cold!). Overall a great product!

Really good,my favoured type of tightening system for light loads like my kayak and paddle ( roof stowed). A bit fiddly to feed the strap through the clasp as the neoprene sleeve is in the way. But good it is covered to insure you don’t scratch what you’ve got strapped down.

Definitely work and are well made. They have. A minor annoyance at the start of their use; the end of the strap doesn't thread through the buckle to begin with because it's slightly too fat and wide based on how it's been sealed. Easily solved by cutting a pointed end and gently burning to reseal. Then works a treat. As I discovered this when out already I can't give 5 stars...twas an irksome 20 mins pfaff before resorting to tying first time

Great, thick strong straps. Only issue would be the ends need to be cut at more of an angle as they are hard to get into the clasps. the clasps are a bit hard to compress, but on the other hand that does make them very secure

As other reviews have said, the clasps are not great. It is difficult to get the strap end fed into them. However, cut them diagonally and use a lighter to stop the ends from fraying and you are good to go.

These straps are great, used them a few times now and am fairly confident driving around with stuff on the roof! Bought a 2nd set!

Fab & sturdy, bought them as a spare set to put in car. Can’t fault them.
