Good steps for above ground pool
I'm 77 years old and I don't have very good balance. Getting in and out of our above ground pool is something of a challenge. With these steps I can get in and out with ease. They are very sturdy and I'm very pleased with them. I feel they are well worth the money.

BUYER BEWARE! DANGEROUS!!
I would give this a zero stars if I could. This ladder is unsafe for children or adults. VERY DANGEROUS!!!! Do NOT buy!!!! The instructions are garbage, they do NOT help with setting the pool up. The pictures for showing how to put it together are black so you can not see anything. You have to just scramble around figuring it out so it will take you awhile to put together. Since this ladder requires to put sand in it, USPS won't let me return due to weight of the item. Also once it's all together you can not break it back down like when you first get it. The merchant doesn't provide a tool to pop the circle covers off without damaging the ladder. I didn't see till I was trying to return this garbage that if the stairs show use or is scratched, ect that they won't give you your money back because they request for them to recieve the item and inspect it before they decide if they will give you your money back. Had I known that before hand I would never have bought because that's a red flag. Goes to show that they sell garbage and don't honor their garbage. It's like they know no one will want this crap, and when someone doesn't like it, we have to jump through all these hoops to try and get our money back. Save yourself the headache and buy locally because buying a product like this through Amazon isn't worth the stress and hassle. I will get my money back one way or another. I also will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and informing them of this matter!

Better than what came with the pool, but meh.
These are better than the horrible ladder that came with the pool, but not by much. I like that they are wider and more comfortable. The stairs are more stable than the factory ladder but the ladder on these is somehow worse. Yes we are using it "backwards " but we'd rather have the ladder in the pool and stairs outside. The instructions are flat out terrible. I read manuals and diagrams from Chinese and Japanese companies for a living, but these were just orders of magnitude worse. If you can catch this on sale it'd be worth it. I'm not so sure they were worth the nearly four hundred dollars they cost me though.

Sturdy
Very sturdy! I donโt really care for the texture on the ladder as it does kinda hurt your feet but I donโt feel like it is going to move while I am on it.

Pain in the tooty!
I will not lie. This letter has been a pain in my you know what. The instructions were terrible and impossible to understand but luckily I hate instructions. And I usually do things by looking at the picture. So I had that advantage. I decided to put it in backwards for the sake of taking the ladder out in the winter. I stabilized the steps on the outside with sand and pool noodles against the side of my pool. It does rock a bit but it does the job. I was looking in to putting extra deck up to the pool But. For the lovely price of $3000 to have someone do it I decided against it. These stairs were a better deal and it gives the comfort to the pool rather than the chincy metal ladder we had before. I'm just hoping it lasts for a few years. We will see how this summer goes. The ladder does feel a bit cheap And I can feel the steps give when I step on them. With the heat and the chlorine water we will see what happens. All and all when it is said and done I feel it was a good choice for $350.

Great ladder/stairs
They are larger than expected. They are sooo much better than the cheap ladders that come with an above ground pool. It does take time to fill all the sand in the steps to keep it weighted down. We would buy again

Stability
This ladder is much more stable than our old ladder and very nice looking. There were a few parts missing directly from manufacturer, the box was not damaged or previously opened. The customer service department was excellent! They did a great job making sure that we got the parts that we needed quickly. Very happy with our purchase!๐

Unsafe product claims, weight limit, vinyl rails can collapse if fell against, feels unsafe to use
Not Safe for bigger people, made of vinyl not sturdy rails, may collapse if leaned on for support going up or down stairs. Stairs feel very soft and especially in the heat. Plastic or Vinyl will not last long, it isn't what we expected. Very unsafe product and disappointed, stability and especially the rails will not support someone if they fall sideways, even to pull yourself up, you feel like they are going to squeeze and flop off sideways. I weigh 215 and I can't even imagine this working for people that weigh the 350 to 400 lbs that this claims is safe. Put in for return and was only given 1 label for a 2 box return of two large boxes. Seller never provided second label. We are now keeping this piece of $4It because no return labels, only 1, not two and i don't feel even if we return it we will be given our money back because this has happened in the past with 3rd part sellers, I thought I already learned this lesson, but here we are again. We are out over 500 bucks, thanks for your great support Amazon for following through, NOT! After contacting customer support they passed the buck back to the seller who approved return on the Amazon site, but did not provide return labels. Do not deal with this seller or buy this product. We have been prime members for as far back as I can remember and sometimes Amazon will let you down. Do not buy from Vendors that are not Amazon directly. This is the third time in about 12 years where we have had problems with third party sellers and returns, so 3 isn't bad, but these items from third party sellers, you need to be very careful due to either wrong items being shipped, and then when you return it, they can say we never got it back because you weren't sent the correct item originally. So far in 12 years or so, we have had 3 really bad vendors over that span, I would consider this item unsafe and shouldn't be sold unless checked by the U.S. consumer product safety commission.
