Review: great for tendonitis! - I have been struggling with tendonitis for a long time. I have had physio (which helps temporarily) and been advised to do several stretching exercises (which haven't really helped). I have also tried several different types of ankle supports, anti-inflammatory gels etc. which only provide temporary relief (if any). These heel cups are a godsend for me. The instructions say they can be word under any kind of shoe but I'm not too sure. However, I do use them in my trainers and whilst it is a slight effort to ensure they are properly placed in your shoe (they don't work so well with socks) it is worth it. For the first time in a long time I managed to get through an entire aerobic class without any kind of pain in my ankles. I have always spent my dance/aerobics classes doing low impact and worrying about causing myself any kind of pain in my tendons that I'd have to stop but with these heel cups I was able to focus on having a proper workout, and focus on my core and enjoying myself which i haven't done previously because of the fear of causing further injury to my tendons.
Review: Great and supportive - Bought for children aged 9 and 12. Both children suffer with pain heals and this helps. They sometimes wear them and sometimes don’t. I think the older child wears them more as they are larger and the extra height/weight is less awkward where as the smaller 9 year old feels like there is something in the shoe which becomes distracting. They do help when worn and my oldest has been able to play on the pitch longer with them in so they have helped.

**Q: I wear uk size 3 shoes and i'm just a little over 40kg. are they ok or too small for me? thanks.**
A: They will be ok as they are a good fit .

**Q: I'm not sure about the sizing. Would these be suitable for my 11 year-old son with a UK size 2 shoe?**
A: I would try them anyway if your son has heel pain, maybe with a thicker sock/larger boot. My son has been wearing them for 18 months, since he was 10 years old but he was then a size 5. He is now a size 7 and they still fit. He plays football, rugby and sometimes hockey and whilst they do not eliminate heal pain they help enormously. He uses Nike sock boots which keep the heel cups in place more securely. These are expensive but worth it. Recovery time between matches is important and the surface he plays on makes a difference too. Soft ground or 3G astro turf is much easier on the feet. Regards. Brian M.

Excellent product and well designed. Just like having sponge cushion under your heels and relieves the aching heels. Fits well in the shoes without the need to increase the shoe size, washable and just comfortable to wear. Plantar fasciitis could also be caused by inflammation of the plantar fascia to the heel bone, due to small tear or damages, just like a pulled muscle. Think how many steps we take each day, say 4000-5000 steps, that's is how many times we step on those damaged heel muscle without giving it a chance to heal. Imagine like when we have a torn muscle but we never stop using it. So step one, heal those plantar fascia first. But how? We all need to walk each day, from a few to thousands step per day? You must allow the plantar fascia to heal by walking less and use lots and lots of padding or cushions to protect the heels. Use double or triple padding/cushion to speed up recovery. Once healed, keep using the cushions until the heels are fully recovered. Wear thick sole trainers with memory foam. Hope this info helps.
