Yoton Y3 Mini Projector, 317g Ultra-Portable, 360° Rotating, Auto Keystone

Awesome tiny projector that works great in a living room/bedroom/uni flat. The machine itself is tiny but projects a large image. I’ve seen some reviews complain it’s not loud enough, but for me it works great (it’s definitely no cinema but I didn’t want that). It’s super easy to set up (just connect to device with the wires included and go) and is compatible with both my laptop and iPhone. Could be a little brighter but I’m not too upset considering how cheap this little guy was :)

Honestly this thing is brilliant, it looks so nice and neat and tiny, super easy to get set up and start using straight away, feels really sturdy and well made too, it’s nice and quiet while it’s running which I love, the built-in speakers sound way better than I expected, it’s got loads of handy little features, the brightness is actually really good for how small it is, and I could easily adjust it to get the picture just right — I’ve been using it every night and it’s been perfect

I'll be honest, I bought this Mini Projector with pretty low expectations because of the price. I assumed it would be a bit of a gimmick, but I have been incredibly pleasantly surprised! ​The Pros: ​Impressive Picture Quality: For a projector this budget-friendly and compact, the image clarity is genuinely good. It supports 1080P and looks crisp and clear on both a plain bedroom wall and a proper screen. ​Auto Keystone: The 2026 upgraded auto keystone correction actually works really well, saving a lot of time adjusting the angles manually. ​Super Portable: It’s lightweight, compact, and looks great in the yellow/white design. Perfect for a cozy bedroom setup or a movie night. ​Easy Connectivity: Hooked it up via HDMI without any issues. The Cons: ​Brightness: Like most mini projectors in this price range, you really need a dark or dim room to get the best out of it. It won't perform well in broad daylight. ​Sound: The built-in speaker is decent enough for quiet bedroom viewing, but if you want an immersive cinema experience, you'll want to plug in an external speaker. ​Verdict: ​If you are looking for a high-end 4K home cinema projector, this isn't it—but for £30, it beats expectations by a mile. It is absolute value for money and perfect for bedroom movie nights. Highly recommended!

Really impressed with this little projector. For something so small and inexpensive, the picture quality is genuinely excellent. It’s compact, easy to set up. Obviously it’s not going to compete with a full-size high-end projector, but for the money and especially the size, it’s bloody brilliant. I’ve actually bought two of them now, which probably says more than anything else! Would definitely recommend it.

Update - full refund offered. Accepted Thank you. Work very well for 5 weeks the protector has good image and sound. Easy set up. Disappointed that it advertises a phone but can only use iPlayer and YouTube no other apps. Need a stick or PC Laptop to watch other channels. This is only clear in the booklet after you receive the item. The remote eats battery power had to change every week thought it was low quality batteries so brought more better quality batteries same issue lasted a week. Projector stopped working reused to turn back in. All plugs checked not a user error. I have just missed the return period also so cannot get a refund. I have paid money but no projector.

I didn’t have high hopes for the price, but it’s really good and very simple to use. I like the compact size. The only criticism I have is that the lead is very short on the power supply, meaning having to use an extension lead to have it at desk height. 👍

I bought the projector hoping it could be used INSTEAD of a TV. Given the price, free delivery and free returns, I thought, why not? I don't want to be too negative because it really is very good value for money. A projector for sub 50 GBP is just incredible. But it has extremely limited adjustment, which makes it unusable for certain environments. Negatives: 1.) It's not bright enough for day time use. Even if you make your room moderately dark, any daylight that appears through the cracks of curtains or what not will be brighter than the screen. You can still see the image clearly, but the lighting is a bit dim. You get less contrast. So you don't feel like it's a good image quality unless it's really quite dark. 2.) There is very little adjustment. The size of the screen is 100% determined by how far away the projector is from the screen. Which is annoying because it means there is only 1 very specific spot in your room you can place your projector to get the desired size. Similarly, you have only 15 degrees of vertical keystone adjustment (tilt correction), which is ok but not great. But there is absolutely no HORIZONTAL correction. Meaning unless your projector is horizontally aligned to the centre of your screen, you will get a very distorted image. So there is next to no flexibility of where you can place your projector. 3.) The audio is really sub par. It's sufficiently loud, but even the audio you get from your phone speaker is better. At least from a high end phone. But then the audio from your phone may not be as loud, and if you reduce the volume on the projector, it may sound better. With that being said, I think it's best to use this device with an external speaker and it's good that you have a usable speaker on the device. These complaints however all seem petty when considering the price. I paid only 43GBP for this projector with free next day delivery. It includes an HDMI cable and remote control for the device. It's extremely light and portable so I can see a lot of use cases for this projector. You could feasibly bring this on a camp site with a tripod and portable screen and it would be vastly superior to using a laptop or phone. If your room happens to be the right shape/size or you are more flexible and are willing to use a tripod or what not, then this also can be a very good and inexpensive solution to get a big screen in dark environments for very cheap. Low power, low effort. It's an incredible device in that respect. If this fit my needs I would have given it 5 stars, and that somewhat makes it seem unfair that I gave it only 3 stars. The problem is that the reviews do not really convey the problems mentioned and it's hard to find these specific details in the majority of the reviews that are 5 or 1 star. I would recommend this device to anyone who has the flexibility mentioned. But if you have restrictions on where you can place your projector and your room doesn't happen to have the optimal conditions, then I would not bother. It's a good product, but too limited to really replace a proper TV.

Small and compact form factor as you can see it next to the switch 2, hdmi works, its bright. I have it connected to a chromecast to watch the rookie. It has no native streaming apps so youll need to connect an external device like a phone or tablet. the manufacturer states you can connect a Bluetooth adapter so you can use smart view. built in speakers and ye. It has Ai Autofocus which is pretty good. the remote is generic.

muy sorprendido, la verdad. Es mi primer proyector y quedo totalmente contento con la compra. A 3m de la pared proyecta una imagen de unos 260x140cm (más de 114 pulgadas de diagonal) con muy buena calidad y color. Las letras de los menús se ven muy nítidas. Podría incluso trabajar con el ordenador! Eso sí, con la habitación a oscuras. El audio tiene buen volumen y definición pero en mi caso usaré altavoces externos. Tiene salida jack tipo auriculares. El mando y opciones van muy bien. Puedes girar e invertir la imagen por si proyectas boca-abajo o desde detrás de una pantalla. Puedes hacer zoom de 0 a 25 por si quieres la proyección más pequeña (sólo reduce). El proyector tiene rueda de enfoque y otra rueda para deformar el 'trapecio' de la proyección arriba-abajo (no lateral). No he tenido que usar esto último pues lo he colgado en la pared detrás del sofá. Es pequeño y ligero, por tanto muy fácil de instalar donde sea. Tiene una rosca hembra, típica de cámara fotográfica. Yo he usado un brazo mágico (magic arm) para poder posicionarlo. Lo recomiendo. Queda muy bien fijado. Del ruido de funcionamiento, nada. Ni lo he notado. Ventila un poco de aire caliente por un lateral, pero no molesta. Debo decir que el vendedor ofrece regalos por comentarios con 5 estrellas pero habría otorgado igualmente las 5. Por este precio (casi 70€) quedo muy contento con el producto y cumple de sobra mis expectativas. Mi hermano se lo ha pedido nada más verlo funcionar. Recibido al día siguiente de comprarlo. Recomendación por si vas un poco a lo loco comprándolo como yo: ten en cuenta las conexiones! El proyector no tiene salida óptica ni 5.1, por lo que si quieres audio 5.1, deberás reproducir las pelis desde un PC. Pero por lo que sé, algunas plataformas como ¡Amazon prime! no emiten audio 5.1 por el navegador! (flipo). En la smart TV sí, pero no por navegador ni app. Por tanto la única opción de escuchar una peli en 5.1 será emitir desde un PC una peli grabada: imagen por HDMI y audio por una tarjeta de sonido 5.1. Uno tiene una smart tv con 5.1 y ya cree que puede ver la peli con lo que sea. Pero no. Éstas smart TV podrían tener SALIDA de vídeo! Suena absurdo, pero... Piénsalo bien antes. Yo caí en eso de "ya veo Prime en la TV con 5.1. Me compro el proyector y pim pam, lo veo en la pared a lo grande!" Pues no. No es tan fácil. La TV no es como un PC que duplicas la pantalla y a disfrutar de pantallón con el mismo audio. Nop. Es tonto pero caes :D Adjunto vídeo, espero que se aprecie bien el detalle.

I initially had a little trouble figuring it out with my amazon firestick. It worked perfectly after adjusting the resolution on the firestick. The screen is amazing and the audio quality is excellent. My children love it.

A bit on the flimsy side

Uzun zamandır bir projeksiyon cihazı alma niyetiyle dolaşırken Yoton Y3 ile karşılaştım ve yorumların pozitifliği ile siparişimi verdim. Yurtdışından gelmesine rağmen kısa sürede elime ulaştı. Paket içeriğinden şarj haricinde bir adet hdmi kablosu çıkıyor. Cihaz el kadar olmasına rağmen ses ve görüntüde fiyatının hakkını veriyor. Ekran büyüklüğü çok iyi ve zoom özelliği ile ayarlanabiliyor. Bu segmentte denediğim ilk ürün ve gerçekten tatmin etti. Kullandığınız ortam ne kadar karanlık olursa o kadar iyi bir ekran deneyimi alırsınız(aydınlık ortam performansını tavsiye etmem). Cihazın kendi hoparlörü gayet yüksek ses veriyor. Ürünün yanında bir adet tripod ve usb ile dijital platform izleyebileceğiniz bir cihaz alırsanız çok rahat edersiniz. Taşınabilir disk içerisine filmler yükleyerek de kullanmak mümkün. Elbette daha pahalıya daha kaliteli ürünler vardır ama bu ürün tam bir fiyat performans canavarı desem yeridir.
