Bear Couples ( Baerchen - Paerchen ) -160 g

I lived in Germany and these are legit from Germany. I hadn't seen them 20 years ago so they must have been introduced after I left. I thought they were cute so I ordered a bag. I ate the bag over there days, ordered more AND did subscribe on save. They are the same texture as their gummy bears, firm, slightly chewy, but one side is traditional gummy flavor, and the other side is sour. Not too sour but the taste sneaks up on you. I didn't translate the package before I tried them so I was surprised, pleasantly. The first few, I couldn't place the sour taste. It was subtle, but not too subtle. If you enjoy intense short, these probably aren't right for you. But if you enjoy sweet/ sour combos, try these out.

These gummies are an absolute treat! The playful mix of sweet and sour flavors is so satisfying—it’s like a little flavor adventure with every bite. Plus, I really appreciate that they skip the artificial food coloring that’s so common in American candies. It’s a small thing that makes them feel a bit more wholesome. Altogether, they’re fun, tasty, and seriously addictive!

The barchenbarchen are good. One is Sweet and the other is sour. They're attached so ist fun to eat.

Gummy bears arrived fairly fresh and soft. I cannot think of a US candy to compare this to, but they are delicious. There are three different flavor combinations present- sour orange with sweet apple, sour lemon with sweet cherry, and sour grape with sweet blueberry. It appears the gummy itself is sour, there is no citric acid powder on them. The combinations are unique and make for a really interesting candy. TO NOTE- delivery for me did take an exceptionally long time. This package actually arrived on my doorstep and I had to look back through my purchases to remember that I ever even ordered it... If you need this quickly, look somewhere else. If you don't mind waiting however, there will be a very delicious surprise for you whenever it arrives!
