All of the cards we were given were not compatible with Mi-Ware Classic Software, they were usable with Amiibo but that as not our goal. I am very disappointed in this product, especially for the price we paid.

Well, looking at all other reviews, it seems there's a random selection of cards getting sent out, so buyer beware! The description definitely says they are, as follows! Let's take it to bits, shal we? 1: Mi-Fare 1K S50 RFID Card, Rewritable UID ...Not... 2: • 5. Each card with a unique encrypted ID number, can be reprogrammed. ...No it can't!... 3: Chip: UID ...Implies gen1a magic, they're not... 4: Material: PVC Material: High quality ABS ... Make up you're mind!!! 5: 2. Each card without a unique ID number Wrong, it has one and you can't change it. 6: 7. Can copy write mi-fare 1k key card ... not really, the uid is important with mf tags!... Well, I think one could certainly be forgiven for thinking you were getting a gen1 magic tag pack here. Here is what the proxmark reported for one of these cards: ------------ [usb|script] pm3 --> hf mf info [=] --- ISO14443-a Information --------------------- [+] UID: 3B 13 6A 94 [+] ATQA: 00 04 [+] SAK: 08 [2] [=] --- Keys Information [+] loaded 2 user keys [+] loaded 61 hardcoded keys [+] Sector 0 key A... FFFFFFFFFFFF [+] Sector 0 key B... FFFFFFFFFFFF [+] Sector 1 key A... FFFFFFFFFFFF [+] Backdoor key..... A396EFA4E24F [+] Block 0.... 3B136A94D608040004D626981FA04790 | ..&...G. [=] --- Fingerprint [+] Fudan FM11RF08S [=] --- Magic Tag Information [=] <n/a> [=] --- PRNG Information [+] Prng....... weak [+] Static enc nonce... yes There you go. I'll probably keep them as I can certainly fine a use for them, but I certainly had to jump on here and write this to clarify things.

I was originally looking for some Gen 4 magic cards that could do all types (still am actually). These ones unfortunately reported as Gen 1a/1b. However not a total loss because it was able to write generic NFC and Amiibos like the NTAG215 standard. So basically still good to have some cards instead of no cards, just only works on a select amount of systems.
