Wings Of Fire First Ark Review
Everyone of these books are each very engaging from start to finish. Each book in this first ark follows each of the five main characters from each point of video. There are times when a book may get a little bit dark, for example how a book may go into detail into how a character dies but I wouldn’t rate this too gory by any stretch of the imagination, it’s just some of the dark themes of war that are spreader here and there.Speaking of imagination, each book is very imaginative in how it describes each of the worlds the five dragonets explore such as the arena in the sky kingdom from the first book to the lush tropical paradise the rain wings reside. The books also go into great lengths explaining each of the dragon types and their abilities before you even get to the prologue. You get all sorts of characters from very sweet characters to outright intimidating villains. There are some cons to the story that you may find such as how some of the plot points wrap up but these things are so minute that I might as well be nitpicking. There’s no bad book as their all good, just that some books are noticeably better than others.Overall the Wings of Fire series is a good read and I highly recommend, especially if you wish to have your kids engage in more reading.

Review by a homeschooler!!!!
Tui Sutherlands Wings of fire books are becoming a much loved series of children's fiction. The books are mythical adventures full of excitement, suspense, friendship and ultimate surprises. These wonderful books took me on exciting journey of war, betrayal, loss and yet it found its way into my heart as a series that kept me very entertained for at least an entire week.Book one ( The dragonet prophesy ) Introduces the reader to 5 rather humorous, gentle , courageous, even sarcastic, brainy and jolly dragonets, they were taken ( by the talons of peace) from there homes while still in there eggs and were forced to to live in a mountain in Skywing territory, to learn about history of Pyrrhia and about the war, until they make one daring escape and find them selves in a exciting adventure.I personally enjoyed , books 2,4,6 ( The lost heir, The hidden kingdom, The brightest night ) I think Tui has done a perfect job in writing these books, i wouldn't change anything about them:) and Tui has become one of my favorite author. So in conclusion I would most definitely recommend buying these books for anyone who loves all things adventure and imagination.
