Ariat Men's Heritage Roper Western Boot

I needed a black shoe that was dressy enough to wear at work and I wanted a boot. My wife has a lot of Ariats and I actually have one pair of western boots that they make and have always liked their comfort and quality so I wanted to try these out. I am somewhat hesitant to buy shoes online because different manufacturers and even different styles from the same manufacturer can make a big difference in which size I need. I had tried on a couple of Ariats at a local store to see how there sizes ran, but they did not have this particular style in stock. After some deliberation, I decided to go ahead and order the 10.5 EE's online from Amazon. When they arrived I tried them on and was concerned that they might be too big because they were so comfortable right out of the box; not tight anywhere. After wearing them around the hose for a day I thought that they must might work so I wore them to work for a few days and they are fitting great; not too loose and not too tight. I am completely satisfied with the fit, style and quality of these boots.

I just received these boots and they are great. To me the fit to size is perfect, which is a relief when ordering online. They are very comfortable and I could tell right away that they won't need much break in, if any. They are very attractive and appear to be well constructed. This is my first pair of Ariat boots and I am not disappointed! One thing I will mention. I ordered the earth brown/bomber. In the picture here, there is a big difference in the color of the upper and lower. The boots I received are pretty much the same color all over (earth brown). The box says the same as what I ordered, so I was shipped the correct item. This isn't really a big deal to me but thought it could be to someone else, so it is worth mentioning. I will most likely be ordering another pair of these in black.

The Ariat Men’s Heritage Roper Western Cowboy Boot are ok boots. However, do not judge the book by its image. The boots as advertised look to be of more malleable, softer leather than what arrived. My experience with the boots were that they were much coarser and very difficult to break in. And they should not be worn in rain or snow as this will ruin them altogether. After a few weeks of wear I had to discard after once getting caught in a rainstorm. As they dried the leather upper hardened then began to crack around the toe bend areas when I again wore them. Obviously, only made to wear in dry weather.

Well! This is the beginning in the use. Only can tell they look good and fit good. I have to walk several miles and then can say my final veredict.
