There is an issue with the fuel cell clearance in the light housing. We charged the fuel cell with water as outlined in the directions, but the light would not turn on. When the cap was tightened, the light would not turn on, but if I unscrew the cap and hold it loosely on the cell, the light works fine. It appears the cell is a little long, or the black plastic plug in the cap (that has the foam around it) is too long.
