It’s great for travel and carrying personal electronics- Phone, tablet, handheld gaming devices etcI would have rated it 5* if the main zipper opened all the way through. As it doesn’t open all the way.. a bit of digging around has to be done to find stuff in the bag.

First day use

I’ve been a huge fan of Tomtoc bags for years, and this is my fourth purchase from them. Once again, they’ve knocked it out of the park! I bought the Tomtoc Compact EDC Sling Bag specifically for a recent trip as my personal carry-on, and it did not disappoint.Despite its sleek and compact design, this bag fit everything I needed snugly—my iPad Pro 12.9” (complete with Apple Magic keyboard), AirPods Max, Kindle, wallet, passport, and a few other essentials. The organization is top-notch, making it easy to access everything without fumbling around.Comfort-wise, it’s excellent. The sling style is ergonomic, making it super comfortable to wear for long periods. It’s also quick and easy to take on and off, especially when going through airport security.The only thing I would have liked is a dedicated spot to easily clip my AirTag. While I was able to attach it inside, a built-in key loop or an external clip would have made it even more convenient. Hopefully, Tomtoc considers adding this in future designs!If you’re looking for a versatile, well-built, and stylish everyday carry bag, I can’t recommend this one enough. Tomtoc continues to impress, and this will definitely not be my last purchase from them!

Dieses Sling Bag ist der perfekte Kompromiss für mich zwischen Umhängetasche und Rucksack. Sowohl mein iPad Pro 13" als auch das 14" Notebook passen problemlos hinein und sind durch den verstärkten Rand dieses Fachs und das weiche Material gut geschützt.Das Extra für Flaschen oder Dosen vorgesehene Fach ist sehr praktisch, da ich unterwegs immer was zu trinken dabei hab und die Flasche somit nicht sonstwo herumfliegt oder den Zugriff auf darunterliegende Gegenstände blockiert, was ansonsten wirklich nervig sein kann.Das Fach im Rückenbereich ist gut für Geldbeutel oder ähnliches. Im Fach vorne befindet sich auch ein Verschluss an dem Mann einen Schlüssel oder ähnliches anbringen kann.Qualitativ wirkt sie sehr hochwertig, auch die Reißverschlüsse laufen so gut dass es schon fast ein Genuss ist daran zu ziehen. Somit ist der etwas höhere Preis absolut gerechtfertigt. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.

If you are looking for a great every day bag to carry round essentials and tech, then you shouldconsider this bag.ExteriorThe bag is well made, with excellent stitching and high quality components, for example the zips are YKK and seem very sturdy. The plastic strap components are UTX - Flex Stealth warrior.The material used for the back pocket is a coated nylon, but the rest of the bag is made from recycled plastic bottles. The main (Tech compartment) zipper has a waterguard rubber strip to make it more water resistant. The overall appearance is understated. One nice touch is that there are two lower buckles allowing you to swap which shoulder you use. The strap is padded and comfortable with a full load.The rear pocket.If you hang the bag on your right shoulder and use the lower left buckle, then by sliding the bag forward you can access the rear pocket without taking the bag off. This pocket isn't huge but its bif enough for any smallish items, however it has limited expansion. There is a small Tomtoc logo on the rear pocket. There is a small key hook in the pocket on red thread. A nice touch is the red stitching on the pull tab for this pocketThe Tech PocketSurprisingly spacious, I can carry an M3 Macbook air 13", in the laptop pocket and a 12.9" M1 iPad Pro in the tablet pocket, however the magic keyboard has to be removed to do this, and placed seperately in this part of the bag. I was also able to add my Tech accessories bag (also by TomToc) and Bose QC35 ii headphones and my sunglasses and still have a bit of room for a light sweater .The pocket also has a drinks holder (Not too sure I would want to place a possible leaking bottle in with my laptop and or tablet. a mesh pocket (charging cables etc and a zipped pocket)The hidden rear pocketNot huge, but big enough to take a passport or two, a wallet and change.In use, the bag is comfortable to wear for long periods. Carries a surprising amount of stuff. Despite the buckle, I just pop it over my head and rarely undo the buckle.ConclusionA very nice bag for the cash, ideal for taking tech on the road with enough room to carry both a tablet and smallish laptop, and a range of other stuff. Well made, stylish and with just enough room.Best of all if you register using the QR code, they give you a two year warranty free of charge. The bag is of exceptional quality for the price and I don't really think you can go wrong.10/10
