Good Additional Protection for Heavy Rain
I bought these waterproof boot covers to wear over my boots when riding in heavy rain, and they do their job well. They’re easy to put on and help keep your boots dry, especially on longer rides where water tends to get in from everywhere. The material feels lightweight yet durable, and the fit is quite good if you choose the correct size. The straps and closure help keep them secure while riding. The reflective detail is a nice touch for improving road visibility, especially in low-light conditions. One thing to keep in mind is that they’re not meant for walking long distances on asphalt or very abrasive surfaces, as the material can wear out if used like regular boots. They’re designed mainly as protective covers to wear while riding.

Ultra light non-rugged waterproof shoe covers!
If you want super tough ultra rugged water boots (used for work or wilderness purposes) these ARE NOT for you! But if, like me, you just want some light shoe covers to protect your nice shoes from mud and rainwater while walking your dog, or making light treks in your neighborhood, these are perfect. Got tired of ruining nice sneakers and other shoes with mud and water damage during short walks during rainy days. Before I had to go through hassle of hosing off my sneakers or worse putting them in the wash. Now my shoes are protected and I only have to use a garden hose to rinse the mud/rain debris from these shoe covers while my regular shoes stay clean, dry and protected inside. The material for these covers is kinda thin and flimsy...not sturdy enough for long term exposure to intense inclement weather...but perfect for (and a real time saver and excellent protector) in regards to light rain and mud.

Better than the neoprene shoe covers
I received these last night and we got perfect test conditions for them here in PDX: Steady rain overnight with steady rain during my commute. Lots of water on the street and path to be kicked up onto my feet by the front wheel. In these conditions I ride my town bike with flat pedals - so the fact that these don't allow clipping in is no problem. My commute is 5 miles 1 way. Compared to the neoprene covers I last used these are vastly more water resistant. On this ride with my old covers I'd have damp socks and the leather uppers of my shoes would be wet enough not to dry before going home. With these I had just a bit of moisture on the shoe and a bit on the front of my sock above the shoe - because I ended up wearing them outside the rain pant leg instead of inside (see the last point below). These are far easier to put on and take off than the neoprene covers - speaking of, the XXL's I got fit just about perfectly on my 45 EE New Balance shoes. Not sure how much bigger a shoe they'd fit. With the zip undone I can slide them on as easily as putting on a shoe. Obviously I haven't had them long enough to compare durability - but the neoprene covers get destroyed on the bottom in a few short weeks from the walk to the garage, standing waiting for a train, standing on the train, walking across the floors at work etc. These have a sturdy rubber sole that *should* last a lot longer. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it lacks a second elastic strap above the ankle making them poof out quite a bit and hard to get under rain pants. If you wear them over the rain pants then you get a trickle of water at the top front of your shoe in this sort of rain. Be warned, these will never look as good as a pair of tight fitting neoprene covers, but riding in these conditions is all about form over function - right? :)

These work! Dry feet & no slipping at Disneyland.
My adult daughter wore these at Disneyland during the “rain tsunami” of Christmas Eve 2025. She said the only place dry on her was her calves and feet. She said she forgot she was wearing them and never had problems slipping on the concrete while walking around Disneyland. They kept her dry until we left 5 hours later. I wore another brand with a zipper top and had to remove them because I was slipping while l walked. I’d rather had wet feet than a broken wrist from falling. I’d buy these for my entire party next time.

Boot Disappointment
This is by far the most disappointing purchase I have ever made on Amazon, & I’ve had some bad purchases while occasionally imbibing. The concept of this product is great, however, the quality of them are equal to an umbrella made out of a chain-link fence. I had to return the product three times, each time they ripped after the first couple of uses and the zippers broke. I work outside in the elements, and was excited when I saw these, only to be filled with more disappointment than a Mets fan every august. Unless you’re just standing there and not moving in the rain, I highly suggest you keep it moving and don’t purchase these. Thanks for the added stress Amazon seller

They work, but for how long?
I purchased these to use on my motorcycle as a windbreaker and to keep my feet dry Pros: Fit was accurate via their chart, they’re completely waterproof, very easy to get on and off and they work fine for the application I bought them for. Cons: I don't expect these to last for more than one season as they're simply not robustly built or a high quality material as you'd fine in a pair of "Neo's". That said, I do find them incredibly useful and convenient and will buy another pair to keep in the car. They’d make a great temporary rain or snow show cover in an emergency and for $20 and change, you be hard pressed to find a better deal. If they soles were a bit thicker, these woulda got 4 stars.

Finally gets to use it, my only regret is not getting another pair. I think it is pretty good and it works as it should.
