This Helmet Originated In Greece In The 7th Century B.C. And Was Later Adopted By The Romans. It Was A Popular Style All The Way Up To The 4th Century B.C. And Was The Basis For Many Helmets Of The Renaissance Period. These Greek Helmets Were Designed To Be Close-Fitting. Shaped To The Skull With Only Small Openings Left For The Eyes, Nostrils And Mouth. This Design Allowed For Maximum Protection, Visibility And Air Flow. And It Must Have Been A Terrifying Sight To The Enemy. This Helmet Is Made Of Hand-Forged 18 Gauge, Low Carbon, A-36 Mild Steel. This Metallurgical Composition Provides Excellent Resilience, Durability And Will Polish To High Sheen.
