Smooth and thick lines
Excellent quality ball, thick line, even flow. Black ink was true black. Has a airtight seal inside cap. Thin barrel, easy to hold. Thick line isn't what i would call quick drying, but a superior disposable. No leakers in shipping to desert SW, so prob safe in the car too. Highly recommend if you like .5

My favorite pens
I so needed these! They are wonderful fine print pens for writing notes in the margins of my books. They have a very smooth flow to them although it, like other pens, starts off thicker and thins out to the end of its use. They dry decently but give it a few seconds on papers with more sheen because they can still smear. I got the black, but will definitely check out more colors from the company. Definitely going to buy these again when I run out. They last a good 3 to 4 weeks per 1 pen use which I use them daily. Just keep the cap on or they will dry out fast.

Great price for the number and quality of ink that you will get. Iโm a leftie and it dries up quite fast on paper, it does not bleed and transfer to my palm lime other more expensive pens do. The only downside is that it dries out quite easily when kept uncapped. Otherwise, this is probably my most favorite pen apart from Muji

Great Pens for Quick Notes
I bought these pens so I could use them for work notes as well as sketching, and they are amazing for the price point. As others have mentioned they are quick drying which is great for a left handed person like me, but there are a few that seemed to leak which may be the issue with some people. Despite that 2-3 pens that are faulty out of a pack of 36 isnโt too big of a deal especially when they write so well. The pen is listed as extra fine but Iโd say theyโre more on the fine/ medium fine range.

Quality pens
I purchased a set of these pens some time ago and they worked so well for me that I just received my reorder. I like the fine line that it makes when writing and I don't have to press hard for the ink to flow. It has a solid feel and I can see how much ink is left. Another positive point is that it doesn't leak. If you secure the cap properly (you can hear the snap) you won't have ink all over the place. The only drawback is that you have to let the ink dry. If you touch it immediately it will smear a little. However, it does dry quickly. I find it to be good quality for the price.

So you see what had happened was..
So I ordered these a bit ago, like a month or so and I finally decided to open em up and I actually got irritated enough to stop and type out this review, literally one of the maybe 3 reviews I've done. When I say I went through the 12 pack and only half of the pens worked, I mean exactly 6 worked. The first 3 that I pulled out of the box at random didn't work and I was about to be a little more than a little irritated if I didn't get at least ONE of the damn things to actually write something. Now when they did work, they actually felt pretty nice and the ink flowed really well. I'm a lefty so I typically like finer point pens, and I actually wasn't paying attention to the mm thickness and just saw the "extra fine" so these were an accidental buy, but decided to try em out anyway. I'm picky on my pens and I mean extra picky. How they flow, feel, and even sound on paper will determine whether I use it or throw it into the sun. Still not sure if I will buy these again, but I will say the 6 pens that did work were actually some of the best of the cheaper end pens I've used. One of the smoothest cheaper ballpoints I've written with and it ain't a lie when it says that the ink dries quick. Wrote a sentence, rubbed the side of my hand right acrossed it the second I was done and nothing. No smear on my hand, nor the page. And for the maybe one other person out there who also is picky on the sound of a pen on the page, yes it sounds like a ballpoint. Got a bit of the scratchy sound (ya know, like a ballpoint pen will sound), but not that high pitched and grating that you would expect from a cheap random ballpoint you'd get from a multipack. Tl;dr 6 pens out of 12 worked from a freshly opened box. Ink flow is impressive for a cheap pen and dang smooth to boot. Ink dried fast enough to almost make it worth the fact that literally half the pens were complete duds and I'm saying that also as a lefty. Are they worth it? If you wanna gamble on how many pens you'll pull out that will actually work properly, absolutely. If you don't, there are plenty of other pens out there that will work just as well, if not better and you won't have to cross your fingers that more than half the pens in the box aren't just filler to justify the size of the box. Dunno how well they'll hold up though but I'll come back to update if I remember. Decided to include pics of my pen test. You can see all the scratch marks from the dud pens on there. I think there were maybe 2 other pens that worked for a moment (seen with those light lines) but the pens that did fully work took maybe a half second to get proper ink flow. No skipping or nothing, which is also pretty impressive. Sorry I was a bit shaky.

Write just as well as Pilot V5, plus none have exploded!
I have loved the Pilot V5s for years for the consistent smooth writing, size of the line, and over pen design, but they always struck me as overpriced - I'd only buy them on sale, which happens very infrequently. I have had quite a few explode or at least start leaking, and I've never been able to pin point why. I am the kind of person that lets my pens roll around in the bottom of my bag, but it seems like an airplane ride was the most common cause of V5 downfall. I have had a pack of these pens for about six months, rolling around in the bottom of my purse and work bag (despite my best efforts to keep them corralled in a pencil bag) and not a single one has exploded or started to leak! They are nearly identical in size of the barrel, so finger grip is the same with these as a V5 for me. I prefer the smooth plastic to a rubber grip. I do with they had less printing on the pen itself, but the aesthetics are the very last item that matters to me about a writing utensil. Ink seems to function just as well as a V5 as well, similarly low bleed through on the types of paper I use - these pens do not bleed through the crappy public school printer paper I often write on. Over all, identical to a Pilot V5 in every way that matters, and they appear to be more durable. I'm a convert.

So smooth!
Ok I have officially found my new favorite pen. It is perfect if you like a fine tip and quick drying ink. I'm left handed so I am not new to smudging the ink of pens that I use as I write. This is why I usually stay away from ink pens, but this one has solved that issue, I do not have a smudging issue with this pen at all!
