It works like a wire

We are renovating my elderly mother's kitchen and bought the 3-piece set of these plus a couple of extra wire extensions. The intention was to assist her vision issues, she has macular degeneration, and also for mood. She loves them and they are nice and bright. We watched the video posted by another reviewer which was accurate and very helpful- thanks! They were very easy to install and we hid the cord over the sink area and where we ran wire down through a new cabinet with some cord tracking covers from Lowe's. We chose to connect these to a permanent wall switch rather than use the remote. The only downside to that kind of installation is that you only get on or off, no dimmer control. That is okay for her situation since brightness is what she needs for contrast. We plan to get a set for our own house soon. We are very happy with the purchase.

The barrel connectors make the interconnects simple; however, making the plastic shroud over each end smaller would be great. Drilling a 3/8” hole in a cabinet base makes for a pretty ugly install (as would cutting and splicing the wire, for different reasons). Even getting down to 1/4” would be a big step forward.

Perfect. I purchased undercounter LED light strips from a different manufacturer but bought the cables from Lightkiwi. They have a nice assortment and I was able to layout my plan and buy a few variations on these cables, extender, splitter, etc. The male end looks like a laptop power plug. I loomed this extension up through the cabinet and the ceiling, through the attic over a window and down into another cabinet to join the rest of the lights. A 3/8" drilled hole will allow the male plug to pass through. A smaller hole, 3/16"? will do if you are up to cutting and splicing which isn't hard - two thin wires, red and black like real thin speaker wires.

Nice plug and play cable. I only wish that they came in 15 - 20 foot lengths, or that barrel connectors were supplied with the cables. I could have easily linked this cable with one of the 3 foot cables included with the 3 light premium set had a barrel connector or two been supplied. Oh well, a little soldering never hurt anyone. ; )

doesn't fit the lights I have easily. Must be forced into them. Yes, size is correct. I think they may have a bit more extra plastic on them than the opening allows for. They still work and my lights turn on, but they do not insert all the way. Came quick.

Great set of lights. They were easy to install, plug and play which made things easy. I bought the dimmer S4170 which works great and the 12 ft extension cable. The cables are easy to conceal around the trim work( don't know if white cables are an option but would be great in some applications. Warm white and cool white are quite a bit different, so double check before you hit the buy button.JP

Like all the other reviews mentioned the mounting hardware kind of sucks as the screws are super tiny and easy to strip. I'd recommend pre drilling the holes for the screws. Otherwise the lights are good quality and put off a good amount of light. I would not hesitate to buy again. High recommended

Unfortunately, it did not fit. I should have checked the measurements better before purchase. I'm sure it's a good cable so I gave it 5 stars, but it's not usable in my case.
