Would this be too bulky for embroidery?

No I don't believe it would be. My husband loves this jacket because it's not bulky. However if you are looking for a smooth material this doesn't have that. But in my opinion should be fine to embroider.

Male. i have 42" chest. 30" sleeves. neither overweight nor skinny---what size am i? for tight fit or loose, too?

I have the beige one I like it they run a little large. I normally wear a 4X but I could’ve gotten a 3X for tight fit 2x
