Good quality
Ease of use and sound quality very good. My toy poodle gradually learns how to use it. He still prefers gesture more than tapping it button. He sometimes complain when having to do extra work tapping it I tape it on the floor to secure it. Put the treat button where his snacks are located. The outside button near the door. I will add more words once he doesnโt complain anymore.

High quality buttons
Love these! Good sound quality. I did think they would be a tad bigger, but I should have read the description. Size is best for small dogs or cats

Great product for anyone teaching their cats to communicate!
Really nice product! I love the updated design on these, with the switch being placed on the bottom and the speakers being on the top. Otherwise, they are the same as the previous edition. I would say that they are a bit on the louder side, but holding the button further away when recording was helpful. My cats really love being able to "talk" with us and are obsessed with these buttons!

When your dog talks to you, maybe increase his library..
These work really well and my dog was trained easily to use them. I still only have 6 and feel guilty that I have not bought more yet because he is so good with them, I bet he'd like to tell me a few more things :P Do the batteries ever run down on these because, man, they are lasting a while!

Help!
My Yorkies are not at all fond of these small buttons. I pre-recorded my voice in a softer way. I have put cheese wiz, peanut butter and other treats and they lick it off but won't go near the buttons otherwise. They pull their leg back when I try to guide them on using these. I am not sure these will ever work. ๐ซ If you have remotely skiddish dogs, you should probably avoid these buttons. I have not quit. I will keep trying and if my pups get it, I will update this review. These are quality buttons, small and work nicely. My dogs just won't use them.

Works well.
We have 2 cats and one is always meowing for something. Iโve seen lots of videos of people teaching their cats how to use these so i wanted to try them out on my cats. The quiet one picked up on the buttons right away. Weโd hear a button go off in the wee hours of the morning when she wanted some more food. The one I really wanted to use the buttons is just stubborn and has his sister push the buttons! Itโs nice not having to guess what they want. It does take some work on teaching the cats what the buttons mean and but the pressing the button part they picked up on quickly.

Easy to use, harder to teach!
Clear recordings and battery lasts. It took a few months for my Guinea pig to accept the first button. Once he did, he began using this along with 4 others in the space of a week. Smart piggy, great talk buttons!

Fun, but don't leave chewers alone with these.
The speak up buttons are an excellent upgrade. I can hear them better and they work more reliably with gentle presses from my tiny dog. I do have to put them up when he's not in the room though, or he eats them. It was very easy to teach him the basics. He's already started making up his own combinations. "Ouch" means get off the phone, apparently, and "hot" means he wants the fireplace on. "Hear toy" turned out to mean that he wanted me to play piano. Crazy stuff!

Misrepresented in the Ad
The video ad makes it appear as though these buttons come with the mat. They do not. Possibly because I'm in the UK, but the only hextile mats I can find come as a set of 2 for ยฃ140. Audio quality is also not as clear as indicated. Will probably return these. For people in the UK, if you don't already have the HexTiles, don't bother buying these.
