Battery door didnt even come with it!
I was excited about this weapon, Ive been eyeing it for a while trying to decide if it was worth the 80 bucks. After some deliberation I decided to make the purchase. A few days went by and it arrived, me being super stoked opened it only to be in shock by the absent battery door. I thought "well maybe it fell out in the box somewhere," but neither the screw, nor the door were in the packaging. I didnt let this deter me, so I went ahead and slapped some batteries in to try it out and wasn't disappointed. To save some time though Ill just make a pros and cons list at the bottom for those who'd rather have a quick summary, but for everyone else Ill continue. Firing it was a dream, the darts were ejecting almost as fast as I was pulling the trigger(some jams occurred when I went too fast) and they were right on target from about 30-40 feet away. Reloading was pleasing(love bullpup mag designs) although I had trouble getting the 25 round drum mag into the gun. It wouldnt click into place. All of the smaller mags worked perfectly like theyre supposed to(18 round 12 round 6 round magazines). For those simplistic likes I do have an equal amount of dislikes. However, dont think of these dislikes as equal to the likes when making a discion. Most of these aren't as serious. The guns way smaller than I expected (see photo) but I guess that just makes it more maneuverable in tight areas like battling indoors. The motors pretty loud. Its almost as loud as the nerf rival nemesis when firing.Lastly of course IT DIDNT COME WITH THE BATTERY DOOR! Like wtf! Im still waiting to hear back about this and will update my review when its been resolved and if ive recived the piece I need. Conclusion The guns performance is great and what I wanted dont get me wrong... its just not worth 84.99. Its way overpriced and should be in the neighborhood of $60 US. It personally lost a star for the missing battery door and screw plus another star for the price, which I realize is just because it has a unique look.Overall though I like it and recommend it if youre looking to add to your nerf collection.Pros-A true trigger finger smg variant (shoots real fast)-pretty darn accurate from a distance-has the ability for attachments on the top rail-its a bullpup designCons-Extremely small and I mean extremely. It's like trying to shoulder a pistol. -moter is really loud when revving it up (2x louder than the stryfe at least)-didnt come with the battery door

Rayvenfire FTW!
Watch Coop7 on youtube and he’ll usually steer you in the right direction for Nerf Guns. I had to have this bull-pup! I’m so glad I did too and finally got it. The mag changes are so quick and fluid! The grip feels so comfortable for a 6’5” man with large hands. It’s just as close to perfect as you can get in my opinion. Whenever I have my nephews over, they all want to be the first to use their Uncle’s “Cool Nerf Gun.” It’s just the ultimate in Tacticoolness. (Thanks to Coop7 for that terminology!)

would be great with some Li-po batteries and removing the thermistor (remember ...
This is the Rayven to end all rayvens. It shoots far stock, would be great with some Li-po batteries and removing the thermistor (remember they used some solvent weld on the back of the trigger assembly) point is, this is the Rayven to end the debates about weather the reshelled Elite Rayven CS-18 really was just an old N strike version. This is an elite blaster with some elite performance. I predict price hiking on these just like Rayvens of part. People want the shells to turn in "Strayvens" (Stryfe and Rayven combined) and some like the compactness of it. I feel these and the Rapidstrikes will soar in value over the next 6 months to a year

Great all around
I purchased this as an adult for myself, mainly just so I had one.I'm quite pleased with the design, and its comfortable to hold (and I have bad joints due to RA).I had a hard time choosing between this and a fully automatic model. In the end I opted for this based on the design, and believe I made the better choice.

Rapid fire semi-automatic....great firepower and accurate at shorter distances.
I surprised my son with this for his nerf battle birthday party. Nice accuracy for shorter distances. The motorized mechanism allows for quicker shooting, but empty’s the clip just as quickly. Luckily I thought of this and purchased some larger clips for this as well.

Tactics
It feels so right using this blaster. The stock feels great, it fires fast, doesn't jam (using ray squad koosh darts), and looks great. Buy the Nerf elite bandolier and use it to clip to the base of the grip in the two sling points there. Then you can have this on your back for a maximum tactical points secondary.

Pleased with the purchase.
Huh. Not the best thing I bought but it's worth it if you like semi flywheels.
