ACR AISLink MOB

Seems like it will do the job. Shares its tech with the Ocean Signal version, just a slightly different form factor. Has a few nicer features like being able to attach to a stitched-in bladder. And it seems like it triggers a little bit easier than the Ocean Signal, because of its sliding release vs. the snap-out release on the aforementioned.

I hope we never need this, but it is comforting to know it's in our PFDs! I gave it 4 stars because there are NO useful instructions packed with it, though a complete manual is available on their web site, the packaging & tiny instruction sheet don't tell you that! There are a LOT of parts packed with it, but it isn't intuitive how it goes together.

Arrived with a tiny "instruction" manual for set-up, which told me virtually NOTHING. Had to go to Youtube to find out what all the extra parts were, and even then, ACR's set up video did not explain what two other parts (a small rubber grommet and a T-shaped plastic doohickey) included in the kit were intended for.
