Less is more. It goes very far, don’t be like me and dab it all around because it’s going to take a long time to blend out. Start with one dot and add as needed. I’m very impressed with the coverage. Dries quickly but even dry it can blend out. Not sticky at all when it’s dry. Shade is spot on, I guessed my shade based on picture and it looks exactly the same. It doesn’t get cakey or cracked. So lightweight it feels like nothing is there.

I have combination skin and had been looking for a full-coverage concealer that brightens and evens things out without looking heavy or settling into texture. I bought Shape Tape in 12B after seeing it everywhere, and here's how it actually wore for me. Coverage is the standout for me. It evens out the redness I get around my mouth and chin and covers my under-eye circles without looking cakey or sitting in fine lines. A little goes a long way, so I use less than I expect to. What sold me is that it did not crease under my eyes, or cake on top of breakouts, which is where a lot of full-coverage concealers fail on me. It held its place through the day. It did fade a little by end of day, so the coverage softened, but it never creased or slid around. If you want it to last even longer, a light dusting of powder would probably help. Shade 12B matched my fair skin well. The swatch photo shows the true color and texture, and you can see it is a neutral, not-too-warm tone. Who it's for: anyone who wants strong coverage that stays smooth and does not crease. Who might want something else: very dry skin, or anyone after a sheer, dewy finish, since this is full-coverage. This concealer lives up to the hype! The coverage is amazing—just a small amount covers dark circles and blemishes without feeling heavy. It blends easily, brightens my under-eye area, and lasts all day. I also love that it has a soft matte finish that looks natural and does not settle into fine lines like many other concealers I've tried.

I’ve been using this concealer for years, almost daily. It is a very thick and creamy consistency. Easy to blend. Very high coverage and lasts all day - just a few dots in the under eye area are sufficient. A single bottle will last me almost an entire year! Color match is also perfect. Obsessed with this product!

The Tarte Shape Tape Concealer really lives up to its reputation for full coverage. I use the shade 27S Light-Medium Sand, and it matches my light to medium skin with warm, golden undertones almost perfectly no weird gray or pink tones, which I’ve run into with other concealers. What I love most is how little product you need to get serious coverage. It hides dark circles, redness, and blemishes effortlessly without having to layer. It dries down to a matte finish, but still looks smooth and not cakey as long as your under-eyes are well-moisturized. Without proper prep, it can cling to dry patches or fine lines. The formula is thick, but it blends surprisingly easily with a sponge or brush. It also stays put all day no creasing or sliding around, even in heat or humidity. I do recommend setting it with a light powder to lock it in, especially for oily or combination skin. The packaging is also solid the applicator is big, so you can apply quickly, and the tube lasts a long time. If you’re looking for serious coverage that lasts, Shape Tape is still one of the best. Just make sure to hydrate your skin before applying, and it will look flawless!

This is the best concealer I've ever used. It matches perfect, goes on easy, stays on, easily washes off with soap and doesn't look cakey or dry my skin. It isn't heavy, but smooth. After I apply a spf moisturizer, I use the wand to dot it on where I need it then using a brush apply and blend. Sometimes I use foundation, sometimes this is all I need. I think it's pricy, all decent makeup is pricy, but I think it's worth it because it works, I can use less foundation, and it lasts me a long time so when I find it on a good sale I buy it to stock up.

The issues I need help concealing are the under eye circles I’ve had since childhood. This is a full coverage concealer. There are two sides to that coin. It will conceal! But it can also look too fixed or become a little cakey if not applied correctly. I’m sure tons of reviewers before me have said this, but I’ll say it again. A little goes a long way. Like, I don’t even try to use the wand to apply product directly under my eye because it is going to be too much. I use the back of my hand as a palette. One dot to the back of the hand and then I use the pointed end of my damp beauty blender to pick up the tiniest bit of the product. I only apply toward the inner corner of my eyes and blend from there. This conceals the darkest areas, but still allows my face to have depth, which to me is better than perfection. I don’t generally have acne or redness, so I can’t speak to how it works for those issues.

This concealer applies very smoothly and provides great coverage for my blemishes and dark spots. It blends well and lasts throughout the day. I've purchased it many times because it works so well for me. It's definitely a must-have in my makeup routine, and I can't imagine being without it. Highly recommend!
