Update: I loved the first pair so much after wearing I bought 3 more colors, but in medium. I wanted to replace some other, less flattering shorts from Academy. The medium is more fitted and I'm happy to see that the pockets don't flare out on these. Even with the snug fit these have so much stretch, I love that they're not binding or riding up after sitting. I'll probably get another pair but in M instead of L. The large fits pretty loose but so comfortable. I'm wearing these today for running errands because the 5" length is perfect for my daily wear with a basic T. The built in panty fits really well, doesn't pull or ride up. Excellent stretch and stitching seems like it will hold up for quite some time, good quality. If I had an opportunity to go swimming, I might try a medium for pool wear as the large might slide down.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Perfect length and high waisted. Fabric is of great quality and soft, fast drying, very comfortable, non see through. I’ve washed it a few times with no fading. The cut is perfect, no riding up as you walk.

I bought these swim shorts as I could not find anything in a store that fot the way I wanted. I love these! Stretchy and comfortable. I bought my usual size L. The pockets are a bonus. I would buy these again.

I overall like these shorts but they are not high waisted they are super high waisted. If you are short these will come all the way up to your breast. I had to have it cut off. I sized up and they are very comfortable. Great for water aerobics. Length is good. So far no problems when washed. I hang dry.

I ordered the turquoise 5" inseam shorts in size 3x. I'm normally a 22-24W in pants and these fit me well. They're long enough to prevent chafing from short wear, but aren't so long that I feel like I'm in bermudas. I would say they're moderately stretchy and very opaque, although the turquoise color leans very green in my opinion. Green is my favorite color, but for those hoping for a true turquoise or more of a blue, you've been warned. I wear these with a normal sports-bra style bikini top and all but a small strip of my stomach is covered and I find the overall cut and fit flattering. I haven't really tested the durability of these, they've only been used in saunas and indoor pools so far, but I wouldn't hesitate to wear them to the beach or lake. They'd probably make good hiking shorts, but for that much activity, I'd prefer a longer inseam to prevent chafing. I do wish they had a drawstring for extra security, but I haven't had any issues with them falling off, even getting out of the pool.

Love these shorts, they fit perfectly! But the fabric is not great, it puckered after wearing once. I had plenty of room to move and swim. I thought the puckers would have smoothed out after rinsing and hanging dry. For the price I would have expected this not to happen. Unfortunately I bought in April and did not wear until July, otherwise I would have returned.

I love these better than I expected. Comfortable, light weight, dries fast. The pockets are nice. Definitely buying more in different colors.

Love these. I don't like regular swim bottoms and these are cute while still covering my butt.

I give 3 stars because of the pocket and some sewing issues. First time a tried it on, the pockets opened not making a sleek look like on the pictures even if the size is ok. Sides waves due to some seams to fix the pockets to the short ovelaped at some places. Had to sew the pocket openings to ameliorate the look. Those short were 54$ can $ should not have those defaults. Baleaf should pay more attention to their quality because it is the second time I have an issue, the other was for a pair of pants that one leg was 1/2 inch shorter than the other.

These are comfortable and they fit according to the size chart, but they are totally see-through. I've only worn them on top of my bathing suit bottoms cuz of this. I was hoping to wear them out to other places as just regular, non swimming type shorts, but that will definitely not be happening lol!
