I bought this 2,000-pound-capacity chain hoist primarily for changing blades and doing maintenance on my zero-turn mower, and it has worked very well. The build quality is good, it operates smoothly, and it feels solid under load. I like the sturdy hooks and manual lifting design because they give me good control when raising the mower. One thing to know right out of the box: wear a pair of work gloves when unpacking it. The chain and components are pretty greasy from the factory. The grease is good for the chain and moving parts, but it can definitely get on your hands. The 10-foot lift gives me plenty of height for working around the mower, and the two hooks make positioning it convenient. For mower maintenance, this is significantly cheaper than buying a dedicated mower lift, while still giving me the lifting capacity I need. It's also surprisingly entertaining for the kids—they enjoy playing with the chain hoist when I'm working in the shop. Overall, it's a well-built, useful tool for the money and has made mower maintenance much easier. Just make sure the mower is properly secured and the hoist is used within its 2,000-pound capacity.

Bought this to change and engine in my garage and it works perfectly. Smooth operation, well built, and feels like it will last for a while. Not super heavy duty, but gets the job done and it's by far the best deal out there. As others indicated the chain is very greasy, but this is a good thing!

Need a host but this one, yes the chain will be greasy, but it's easy to use an does all the work. No straining when you use it. I definitely recommend this if ya need a hoist. I use it to pick up my zero turn for blad an deck work. Has no problems picking it up. Great value for what you get. So far no issues on its durability but only owned it for a Short while.

So far so good. Movement chain could be shorter and be aware it’s very greasy upon delivery so good idea to wear gloves

This little chain hoist gets the job done for light duty jobs. It has light weight chains which make it want to "hang up" if you are not smooth with your pulling. You have to jerk it in the opposite direction to free it up and then is operates just fine. Once you get the hang of the pull it likes, it lifts without hanging up. My other chain hoist is also a light duty model, but has slightly larger chain links and does not hang up at all. I probably would not have known any different if I did not already own a hoist very similar. All that said, it does do what it is supposed to do and having the second hoist has come in very handy.
