Brilliant ๐คฉ
Works really well, even without a black light you can clearly see the leaks, recommend.

Only use if you REALLY are ready to find ALL your leaks
Good quality dye, not much more to say. Got it to find a leak in my cooling system and found 4! So yeah, works as advertised.

Radiator dye
Excellent product

It serves its purpose.
It serves its purpose.

It Works
Expensive but does the job.Can be sometimes viewed without a UV torch if leak is big enough but UV at night really amplifies the effect.
User
Does what it says on the label - would recommend
Expensive for the quantity, but it did the job. Found my leak immediately. Bought a UV lamp to assist detection but didn't need it as the dye is so bright.

Thought It Was Defectiveโฆ Turns Out I Was The Problem ๐
DON'T BE CONFUSED... this is UV reactive, just not out the bottle. That was my mistake. It becomes fluorescent when mixed with coolant and turns yellow.I was struggling to find a stubborn leak and this found it.For any rookies out there, little guide once poured in - put the coolant cap back on and drive it for around 30 mins if safe depending on how much you lose coolant. Car needs to get up to temperature for the thermostat to open so coolant flows through the system.Once this is done, you can also check heater core issues - passenger footwell area. Once up to temperature put your heaters on, that can help reveal heater core leaks. One tip: if using a UV torch, dont assume every glowing bit is a leak. Some things can show up white/blue-ish under UV. This dye turns fluorescent yellow when mixed with coolant, so thatโs what youโre looking for.Dont just check obvious places. People may not realise itโs not just the radiator and pipes near it. Check water pump, bulkhead area (behind engine where pipes go into the cabin), thermostat, all pipework, radiator and seals, expansion tank (prone to cracking), and in some cases even exhaust/tailpipe area if coolant is burning through the engine.Found my leak when nothing else did.

Perfect for finding leaks
It does the job perfectly and you can find your leaks easy

Super visible coolant leak detection
Sooooo very concentrated and BRIGHT.This product helped me diagnose a gremlin in my coolant system. 5/5 stars, great product.
User
The way to find coolant leaks. Get a 365nm light.
The only Radiator specific dye that i could find. All others are for oil and are not compatible with coolant. It works amazing and it glows really bright fluorescent yellow under 365nm uv light form a cheap torch. The ammpount was more than enough for a very large LR4 V8 with dual AC system.
User
Works great
Was skeptical at first but used it and it makes it so much easier to find a leak and most of the time you dont even need the flashlight to spot it. Color is nice and bright to see definitely worth the money id buy again. Worked great for us even though the radiator is shot.
User
Works well.
Works great.I would rather not use it because is is colorful enough even without UV that I think of it as messy, and drain and flush after finding and fixing leaks, but maybe I add too much, or maybe I should just not worry about that and rinse everything when done. It is quite water soluble and rinses clean off. My son calls it "predator blood", looks the same.Definitely helps finding obscure leaks on messy engines.Be sure to put it in the radiator. If put into an overflow tank, especially a non pressurized type, it may require a few heat cycles to transfer enough to where it matters to be useful.Obviously, won't help with a head gasket leak to the combustion chamber, unless you look with a borescope, maybe after letting it sit pressurized a while. Head gasket leak to crankcase (oil contamination), you shouldn't need this stuff for. The milkshake is perfectly fine for that.
User
Looks red in bottle but does turn bright green when mixed with water
Worked very well. Makes it very easy to track where coolant is leaking to with a UV light. Lights up very bright when UV Light is shown on it
