Great purchase!!! I bought 3 of them and they give a wonderful kaleidoscope look to the front of my home, which is rather large and it covers a wide range!!! My favorite is the white light, but it will change to green, blue, red and some other mixed colors!!!! Heavy duty commercial grade!!! Remote has to be right at the light to make it change colors and the remote is rather cheap looking, but the light itself is very heavy duty!!

These are not your junk toy, gimmicky LED wave lights. These are a substantial piece of equipment. They encompass the entire front of my building and my event clientele rave over the way that it looks. The only gripe that I would have is that the remote is very cheap and does not have a long range. You have to get pretty close to the unit for the remote to work, but the patterns are very nice and dense and they do not look comical or cheesy like they would be a cheap Christmas or Halloween projector that you would get at your local big box store only thing I wish I had done is bought the version above them that would integrate into a smart home, but you live and learn. I’m happy with these only thing is I have to go downstairs to activate them and then come back up while my events are going on.

Very sturdy and heavy a good quality for outside however, does not have a dimmer switch or button on the remote, actually it does but it does not work. I’ve ordered two of them so if you order this, remember, he will not be able to dim the brightness.

*UPDATE* After my light failed six months in, the seller sent me a replacement that was supposed to be an “upgrade” with the new wifi and app functions. It’s terrible and downright dangerous. I tried using the “smart” timer feature to turn the light on/off at certain times, but when it comes on, all we get is this weird strobing light (see video). I used the remote to just turn it to solid white, came back 1 hour later and it was rapidly strobing so bad that it made all of us feel sick just trying to fix it and finally just giving up and turning it off. 😵‍💫 *Previous Review* Blue and green no longer functions, less than 6 months after purchase, and with light use. Unacceptable for a $150 light. Piece of junk. Skip it.

This provides fantastic backlighting for my solo gig. I have two uplights in front of me and wanted something with soft motion casting on the wall behind me that was easy to set up…and this works great! It provides bright light and adds great ambience to my show. I had it hanging from a hook in storage about 5 feet off the floor and the hook broke and this fell. Plugged it in thinking it might be damaged…nope, works great. So I love how sturdy this thing is built.

It feels like a legitimate piece of commercial equipment because it has significant weight. Don't be skeptical of the insect-eye lens; it does produce a credible water effect. The coverage is wide because light projects roughly 45 degrees outward L/R. Ideal distance from the wall or ceiling is about 15 ft with 5-25 feet being an acceptable distance. Because we already have flood lights, I considered making something that achieved this effect with a constantly waving sheet of reflective film (chrome mylar?). By the time you order the materials to suspend and wave your sheet, you'll easily spend $100 and run a huge risk of it not looking professional. I'm glad we just spent the extra money and used this. Hopefully it will give a long life. It runs warm, so keeping it at 70F or below will probably maximize the service life.

Very durable light. Puts out extremely bright realistic light. Used as a Halloween decoration and it lit up the whole house. Highly recommend!
