Good value
This is excellent value and works really well. It has both push button frequency selection and a dial sweep so you can sweep a range of frequencies to get a plot on the scope of frequency response (which normally requires a ramp function). The best I could find with a fair bit of research.

Good for accuracy on frequency
Setting up each time takes getting used to

The only thing I don't like about it is the user interface. To adjust fine increments of 1Hz, you must use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the place holder. It's not great for sweeping a range of values....but over all I've been happy to have a useable function generator up to 3Mhz ( i think...). Higher freq and a sweep function and/or better controls probably bump you up into the next price category....

Functional, and easy to use (intuitive). Would be useful if it it included instructions, but they are available from Manufacturer. I found a slight drift in the frequency, which I am not sure whether to attribute to the scope I was measuring with or this instrument (+/- .09 hz in the 10 hz setting). That aside the investment paid for itself in 5 minutes, and will continue to do so every time it is turned on.

This unit was for me the right balance between price and capability - mileage may vary for others. Most of the use I've made of it (using the book Electronic Circuits for Evil Genius, 2nd) has been at much lower frequencies than its maximum of 3 MHz. I was concerned that my oscilloscope can process 100 MHz signals but this unit can only send 3 MHz, but I haven't needed anything higher. This unit arrived very quickly and is as advertised.

Worked well as a function generator. Very stable frequency and very easy to set output frequency with buttons or with dial. Only criticism is that you can't output simultaneously on the TTL and the regular 50 Ohm output unless you are using the square wave mode.

Great low priced low end function generator. Easy to use. Good documentation. Added photo of my measurement of full scale output of GW Instek measured on Tek 2215 set for 5 V/Div. Shows 20V peak-to-peak, no load directly connected to scope probe. Scope seemed to be calibrated ok at .2V, although some difference at 5V is probable. Hope this is helpful.
