Barfly Cocktail Stirrer, Double End 13 3/16" (33.5 cm), Stainless Steel

I bought one of the cheap ($5) bar spoons on Amazon. Horrible welds at the ends. Not happy. As I was looking for a better bar spoon, I came across this Doubled Ended stirrer. For the most part, you don't use the spoon on a bar spoon as a spoon, you just use it to stir. So I though I would try this. Very happy. The welds and quality are top notch. And it stirs very well.

Nice stirrer. I purchased the double ended version which works well for stirring gently or with a lot of ice in the mixer when you don’t need a bar spoon.

TL;DR I did not get what I agreed to pay for. I purchased 3 for a competition this month. They all came together but one of them was very different. 1x came packaged by Barfly. It looked like official packaging. The spirals are very wide and clunky. Not like the picture advertised. 2x came without any packaging/ branding. Just thrown into plain plastic bags. The spirals are tight like in the picture. I prefer these. I might have to triple stir in my competition and it really sucks that one of these spoons is not like the other. I can feel resistance as the larger spiral fights against the other two. This is very disappointing. I can’t have this returned in time for my competition so I am forced to roll with it and try my best. It sucks that I spent $36 altogether to receive an experience that I didn’t want.

Didn’t know there was such a thing as a spoonless barspoon! I was using a chopstick to spin ice when chilling cocktails as I didn’t see the point in mastering the bar spoon stirring technique. IMO the spoon just gets in the way. This sleek stirrer is delightful! — I also use it to stir grounds with 175° water when making Aeropress coffee each morning. It feels nicely weighted, does a great job and is very easy to clean.
