Does what it says and more
When the line on my Bosch strimmer ran out, which it did quite quickly, I was so tired of avoiding hard objects or, if I couldn't, rethreading the line that I fully intended to replace it with a piece of bicycle gear cable. Then I saw this. I was initially sceptical about claims that you just couldn't break it and that it would outlast the strimmer but it was cheap enough so I gave it a try - and the claims are true. This stuff really is virtually unbreakable. The only way I managed to snap a piece off was by cutting right up to some angle iron on the corner of a shed - and even then I only lost part of the exposed line. Winding the line onto the old spool wasn't too difficult but I learnt two things: 1) Be sure to wind it on in the correct direction. The best way to know is to check BEFORE the old line runs out. Failing that, try and find a picture of a replacement spool for your strimmer (which is what I did) or, as a last resort, observe which way the spool spins and wind the line so that the end naturally trails as the thing turns. This should be correct in most, if not all, cases. 2) Don't try to put too much onto the spool. I did this and found that the autofeed mechanism didn't work reliably. Not that you'll need it very often!

Very pleased with this purchase
I ordered this line as a replacement for the line on a new Worx Trimmer which I have recently purchased and which had run out of line on the first usage. I was going to throw the trimmer away in the bin as I was having difficulty purchasing a replacement spool of line but decided to purchase this black and decker line for all trimmers. It worked a treat! It is very good quality and I was quite surprised at how easy it was to manually wind on. I have re-strimmed my garden and there is still plenty of line still left in the trimmer. I am sure this line will last me for the entire summer and possibly longer. Will definitely buy this product again. Excellent product and good value.

When you need a refill for your strimmer.
A must have if you're a keen gardener. Just nice to have so you can get a refill easily without the need to reorder and then having to wait. The item has good feel of build quality and good functionality with easy of assemble . For me it's worth the money.

It's a fine, fine line.
I bought this trimmer line because the line for my CEL trimmer is unavailable and I have just got onto my spare reel. I have to say it is a lot cheaper. It took a bit of fiddling to get it wound onto the original CEL reel, but not impossible -just make sure you only free a bit of the line at a time from the master reel as it will all uncoil like a watchspring if you're not careful! It seems to work fine with the autofeed mechanism, cuts grass well, and seems -like other reviews have said- to be very tough. I think it will be a very long time now before I return to buy a CEL reel. Good product. AA

Pain in the **** to wind on to the reel, keep getting snaged
at first when I wound this on to the empty reel i thought everything was great. I tried my best to make the wind on reel as neat as possible by winding it on to the reel going smoothly from top to bottom of the reel itself so that as the cable unwound itself it would be fluent. Everything was great to start with. As the reel got to the last third of length it keeps snagging and not releasing itself correctly. So ANNOYING now. I have tried removing all the reel and winding on new length but it is now a waste of reel. It keeps getting snagged

This cord strikes a value chord!
Well what can you say about nylon (is it?) cord on a storage spool? The product seems fine. I bought this as you get multiple refills of your strimmer spool for the same price as one replacement, filled spool. Obviously, your strimmer spool need to be in serviceable condition. Refilling it is a simple task as long as you have a moderate amount of patience. I refilled mine with about 5 metres of cord. If you're not confident about doing it, there's plenty of Youtube videos to show the way and give little tips to avoid potential frustrations. Do remember to secure the cut end of the cord in the storgae spool before you leave it or else you'll have metres of the stuff snaking around your feet (no, not from personal experience). So, overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. My strimmer is back in action and I know that the next time it suddenly stops working, a few minutes spent measuring, cutting and winding will see me back in action.
