Good compromise between weight & sturdiness
The seat could be larger and it could be lighter, but if the seat were larger it would have to be heavier and if it were lighter it would not be as sturdy as it is, so it seems to be a good compromise. Adjustment is good and having both pointed and rubber ends makes it useful on different ground types. Reasonable price.

Well worth considering.
This is my first Shooting Stick (another indication of the effects of old age). It arrived well packaged and in good time. The shaft is of a solid construction but the holes for height adjustability are a little far apart so a little care is needed when finding an appropriate user height and screwing in the threaded knob. The seat opens fines but this is the small down side. The leather looks cheap and the metal handles could do with a bit more padding for a comfortable seating experience but the at this price it is a small consideration. The weight is acceptable but I was thinking a carry strap would be a good addition but again a small issue. I have yet to try it out in action so to speak, the forthcoming Scottish Open Golf will be its testing ground but overall it seems to fit the bill

Great Buy
I have found this stick very useful. It is well made, is sturdy, and very easy to adjust. The leather seat is good. I also bought the rubber ferrule tips that were recommended. Beware they don't stay on! I have used some rubber solution to make the fit tighter.

Adjustable Shooting Stick
For my needs and I presume the purpose for which it is made, it does the job admirably.Very comfortable to hold and use as walking stick, very comfortable to sit on, certainly for the short periods that I use it. It seems well made and looks as though it will last well---however I have only had it for a few days!

I felt safe and secure when using it as a seat and walking stick.
I recently had a car accident and have been unable to stand for any length of time I bout this shooting stick to help when I was at the races and it was brilliant. The height is adjustable and I was able to use it not only to sit on but to use as a walking stick. I felt safe and secure using it.

'You get what you pay for'
This is a case of 'you get what you pay for', being at the budget end of the market! I would describe this as a 'PROP' it does everything described JUST and at first glance it looks rather good. On closer inspection it is definitely built to a price,as the finish and overall quality reflects this. If you are prepared to spray a little light oil on seat mechanism to loosen up the action and apply some tape around the the join to take up the slack this stick is adequate. The seat is small and uncomfortable but is again adequate for use for short spells! I use mine as an aid for waiting at bus stops etc.Not for use at a grouse shoot or polo matches.

Overall it's a good product.
I've only used it a couple of times, so far. But it does do what it's supposed to do. It's a bit cumbersome as a walking stick. However, as a seat, when you need to sit down (as I do all too often), its brilliant. Just remember to keep your feet well apart when you're sitting on it (think three legged stool). It is well made (I'm over 21 stone and it copes with my weight without complaint). Not sure why they bothered with the padding, it's so small, it isn't worth the effort. But overall, it's a good product and I would recommend it.

'Shooting' stick
Arrived on time (2nd attempt by Royal Mail). Exactly as described . Adjustable . Perfect for me as I struggle to stand for long periods of time ( underlying health condition) & can be unsteady at times. Wish I'd got one earlier.
