I personally can easily take these on and off without having to deal with the laces. Thank you stretchy rubber! There is fabric parts on the inside of the area that surrounds you ankle. I though it was going to irritate my skin but even after many wears, I have not had that problem at all. Because of all the holes in the design, my feet stay pretty dry and comfortable all day. I did try to wear them with cotton shortie socks but because of the rubbbery material, it's hard to get your foot in comfortably with all the friction without tightly pulling on the sock and basically choking your toes in the process. Once I got it in with a sock on, it felt swishy inside and unstable. I dont recommend wearing with socks. These are good for casual walking and excercise. I wouldn't go jogging in them, but aerobics and other indoor type stuff yes. Very comfortable.
