Review: Does what it supposed to do! - Nice unit, just takes some time to get use to it!
Review: Best investment - This is totally worth it at a fraction the cost of multiple mics, stands & interface, etc. The EAD10 sound is perfect for me. I use it for recording my acoustic kit and not really as a conversion into an electronic kit… tho the electronic sounds are fun to mess with. ADDITIONAL CORDS TO BUY I bought an ‘iPhone to Type B’ (iPhone to printer cable) just like the instructions suggest and it’s been perfect to use my phone and iPad with. It plugs from the phone straight into the back of the module. I did NOT buy an adapter for my phone to use with the regular printer cable… the adapters don’t work very well, from my past experiences and from what I’ve heard people complain about. Using the iPhone to Type B cord, you can also stream music from your phone to the unit to play to. You’ll need the Type B printer cable to go straight from the module to your computer if you’re going to use a DAW to record. Again, I bought one for my Mac that is a ‘printer cable to Mac’… no adapters or USB converter to plug into my computer. Goes straight from my Mac into the back of the module. DAW For recording - I’ve been using garage band and that’s been great as well. My computer detected the EAD10 and linking it together was super easy. I’ve also used the REC N SHARE app to be able to do quick videos and it’s been awesome. The iPhone to Type B cable is all you’ll need for that too. Your phone should recognize the EAD. As for streaming & recording drumless tracks, you’ll have to do some research but I use Transcribe. STAND/MODULE MOUNTING I bought a projector stand off desertcart that had a top shelf for my laptop and a smaller bottom shelf for the module. That’s all I’ve got. Hope it was helpful. Yamaha really nailed it with this unit. It’s helped my practicing immensely. I’d say players of all levels can benefit from this and it’s worth it’s weight in gold.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: can i use extra mics in the other input ports other that the A and B port for the mic/trigger pickup sensor?**
A: You can add more triggers, not mic's.  If you want more mics, you need a mixer or interface.  Output the EAD10 to a mixer/interface input along with the other mics.

**Q: Dose it come with a mounting stand and if not, how do you mount it to a stand?**
A: Although it does not come with a multi-clamp, I found that the attachment piece included (mounts to bottom of module) sits perfectly in an old unused cymbal stand I had.  The protrusion on the bottom of the mount slid right in and is held in place by tightening the cymbal stand as you would when adjusting stand height.  This option will save you a bit on a multi-clamp and will also prevent vibrations from the hi-hat stand from transferring to the module (if you use a clamp to attach it to the hi-hat)...

**Q: Will there be an android app coming in the future?**
A: Yep. Came out Fall (Oct.) of 2019. Go download it.

**Q: Love this drum module. One question....how do you run this directly into a PA?**
A: I run out with a stereo cable with a ¼ inch adapter. It does the job fine but I’m looking to get a little powered mixture to run it through then out XLR.
