KONG - Scrunch Knots Fox - Internal Knotted Ropes and Minimal Stuffing for Less Mess - For Small/Medium Dogs

I bought this in advance of getting my 8 week old Shiba Inu puppy. Alfie took to this straight away and it quickly became his favourite toy among many. He'll play (and sleep!) with this on his own but is happiest when I play tuggy with him. It's a great distraction when I find him chewing on anything he shouldn't; I just squeak the head and he comes running to play. He loves the squeak so always goes for the head part when we play tuggy. The rope inside the length of the body gives him something to chew on and has some elasticity which makes it an ideal tuggy toy. Unlike other toys this never goes missing whether indoors or in the garden as Alfie would never be without it for long. After 2 months he's only managed to chew off the ears and the rest of the toy is still intact. Like any soft dog toy I don't expect this to last forever however I'll definitely buy another when the time comes. Machine washable so gets washed once a week along with his other toys and bedding. A great product for a feisty puppy with bags of energy!

Bought this in desperation for young frustrated amstaff/am bulldog hemmed in during house alterations. Rope inside got separated from foxy but both parts are still enjoyed many months later, almost a year. Foxy (skin) goes to bed with him and rope is played with as tug/toss toy even now and still going strong!

We are on our second ‘Mr Fox’ now with the third on order. These toys are simply excellent. My dog is a power chewer. When she wants to she can bite through any lead in a moment, rips stuffing out of any toy I have bought her and destroys shoes in seconds. But she loves soft toys! The kong Fox is a great compromise, soft, fluffy but with the knotted rope inside for her to sink her teeth into. No stuffing so she doesn’t want to disembowel it. As with other reviews- yes if your dog chews like mental and you leave the toy down 24/7 they will rip the rope out. That’s what dogs do! It doesn’t mean the toy is bad, it means you own a dog! But you can either sew the rope back in or have two toys! In summary- strong enough to play tuggy with and will withstand a few months of chomping before the rope comes out as long as you supervise play. No stuffing for the dog to inhale/choke on and squeaker is really securely inside the head (can be removed if need be). If you don’t leave it down all the time it will last longer, but I feel it’s a very safe toy to leave out if you forget to tidy it away. Will be ordering again and again :)

We usually buy long knots bear that lasts weeks. This one doesn't feel the same quality the rope is thin and falls apart. My dog had this ripped apart in a few minutes

I'd give it 2.5/5 because it can really go either way. These toys are strangely made because they are secure in the middle; but the ears are NOT at all secure, so are easy to rip off! My puppy managed to rip a ear off and rip the head to bring out the squeaker! The seller kindly replaced the toy and the second fox is doing well! My puppy loves it so I wouldn't say DON'T buy it; but at the same time you need to know that the ears will 99.99% come off and will break the toy! Be aware!

A great toy for any sized dog. I've always been a fan of Kong products as the quality is great and for some reason, my dog seems to like the fabric used on plush kong toys over other plush toys. This toy has a squeal in the head and a rope coil throughout the body. The head, body and tail have a stretchy connection allowing for good games of tug and making for more enjoyable play for your dog. My little pup is a bit 'chewy' and whilst this has lasted a few days with minimal damage, I imagine he will put holes in it soon enough (so bear that in mind if you doggy is a destroyer and not a carrier)! Overall, very pleased with this purchase and at a great price (much cheaper than the national pet shop prices). Highly recommended.

One of the best dog toys I've bought in a while. I have a pug who loves to chew and destroy toys. You wouldn't think his tiny mouth can do so much damage, but he gets through most toys in a matter of minutes. While he did tear through most of the outside of this toy in just a day or so, the tough rope center made it hard for him to fully tear it apart like he does with most toys. Now, weeks later, this toy is one of the only ones that didn't go into the trash after only a day or two.
