Really nice warm light off these and flexible enough to run round roof joists of pergola. Had them a year now and no problems although not switched on for long periods.

I am using the product for garden lighting. It is very well engineered. The LED ‘rope’ encases the LEDs in a thick silicone rubber oval tube, creating a continuous strip of very even and bright light down one side. While the ‘rope’ is waterproof, the power supply (a 13A UK plug type) and controller are not. I have therefore installed these in a waterproof plastic IP65 junction box in the garden, linked to the house lighting circuit via conduit. The box was about £16 on Amazon. You do need to consider how you will get power to the product for an outdoor installation. It’s not a good idea to run out an extension lead, plug in the product and wrap it up in a plastic bag :) You might ask ‘why not have the power supply and controller inside the house and run your own cable to outside, connecting to the rope light?’ You can’t because the power supply, controller and rope light are linked by proprietary connectors and a few cms of cable. The controller is both a Bluetooth transceiver and infrared receiver. Bluetooth provides control via the free smartphone app. Infrared provides control via the supplied keypad. For the latter, the keypad must be able to ‘see’ the controller (which has an infrared sensor on a short length of cable). In my case I could only use the Bluetooth option because the controller is hidden within the box that I installed and wouldn’t be visible to the keypad. Note that the box cannot be metal because it must be transparent to a wireless signal. The app is elegant, intuitive and very comprehensive. Very easy and instant Bluetooth pairing. I can’t comment on reliability because the product has only just been installed. The build quality suggests it will be reliable. Delivery from Amazon was instant of course and the product was well packed. To sum up: for outdoors installation, think through how you will power the product. For inside, it’s plug & play. I suggest the manufacturer creates an option that provides a waterproof power supply and controller with a means of making a sealed connection to a suitable cable (this would be expensive, hence the product is as it is and good value for money).

Used these to provide under cabinet lighting in my daughter's kitchen. There is no plinth, so needed something which was nice looking. These fitted the bill exactly - as one other reviewer mentioned, the number of clips supplied isn't really enough for a 5 metre length, so I bought the 100 pack of additional clips - I'm sure they'll get used in the future. Bit fiddly getting the clips screwed into the cabinets, but at least they won't be falling off, as is often the case with self adhesive lights.

Lights are good themselves, i absolutely love them, however, they screws supplied are not the greatest. I had to use different screws to install the product. I am amazed by how its turned out. Lets just say the hassle with the screws is definitely worth it Thanks

The Lamomo Neon LED Strip Light is the best light I’ve ever had! The warm white glow is perfect, dimmable, and creates a cozy atmosphere. Bought to take camping, nice flexible design, warm light but lasted around 14 evenings before flickering and dying. Yet another product not built to last #enshitification. Avoid.

Lovely lights for under my kitchen units, very easy to assemble but found the clips very hard to screw on from underneath. Ended up using sticky pads

Ease of use: I bought this light in March and did not use it until I finished some work I was doing on a project at home . The last week I put up the lighting . Switched it On . It came on then after a few minutes it switched off then flashed then just stopped working ? I tried to turn it back on but Nothing ! Now it's not working at all . I have bought a few neon lights from here and not had a problem but this one just cut out and will not work. I can't send it back because I had it since March .. but I didn't use it until I had finished the decorating in that room. So wasted my money . Iv just read some others have had problems with this light . So now I will buy from another seller. Until this company sorts out its problem

Best LED type strip lighting I have ever used… genuinely they are exactly like images, flexible, robust, no visible LED’s, don’t feel flimsy and they even came with the switch and power adapter so ready to use. I am going to replace all my old LEDS to these I am genuinely impressed and also regular tape holds them well

These LED neon lights are absolutely gorgeous and transform any space instantly! The 12V warm white color is rich, cozy, and inviting — not that harsh cool tone you get from cheap strips. 16.4ft of length is more than enough for full room accents, under-cabinet lighting, or outdoor deck setups. The waterproofing is real and has held up beautifully through rain and humidity. Dimmable function works flawlessly and the adhesive backing sticks strong without leaving damage. I've used these in garage work areas, home office setups, and vehicle interiors — they look incredible in every application. 10/10 would buy again!

We initially bought 2 f these, to run in a DIY wood slatted wall. Love how easy to use and hang they were. Initially used 2 sided tape, but that proved not strong enough, was relieved with i used a finish nail gun through the light strip to hang and it didn't break or damage how the light operates. Only criticism, if you want to call it that, first version had a large power block so you have to figure out where/how to deal with that. Of the first 2 we bought, 1 stopped working after about 2 years of infrequent use, bought a more recent version, liked that they got rid of the power block, now the converter is at the outlet, which creates a different sort of space issue. So pay attention to the manufacturer pics on how the unit is powered
