AC Infinity, AIRCOM S8 AV Component Cooling Fan System 17”, Rear-Exhaust

Fantastic appliance. I was previously using a USB desk top fan positioned behind my AV equipment to blow air across the top of my pioneer SCLX901 atmos receiver. It was fine for a while. Kept the receiver cooler than without a fan. But the fan wasn’t silent and was distracting. The receiver still got warm if run for a while. So I looked for something purpose built. This cooler is damn good. Sits seemlessly on top of my receiver and blends right in. I run it on auto mode and on the lowest fan-speed setting and the receiver stays cold, even after watching a couple of movies at an enthusiastic volume level, running all 11 channels and 3 subs. The cooler is silent. You don’t even notice when it comes on and off when it needs to. Even if run at higher fan speeds, I don’t think you even notice any noise. To answer an audiophile’s question, yes, the indicator light can be switched off by holding the mode button for 3 seconds, which is a great feature. There is an indicator light to tell you the unit is on, but it’s tiny and not a distraction. This unit has a rear exhaust, so consider this for your application. Definitely a must buy to protect your equipment, especially if you spend a high dollar amount on your stuff.

Excellent product, fits well with my Marantz receiver and once set to smart mode it switches on and off by itself and changes the fan speed automatically. It's surprising how often it switches on considering my receiver isn't in an enclosed space. The fans aren't too noisy on anything under halfway. They are quite loud when on full blast, but that was with me setting it manually to full, in auto they are normally only on a quarter. This product will hopefully prolong the life of my receiver so well worth the money! For some reason Marantz receivers seem to run much hotter than my previous Yamaha!

I leave mine on auto and this does a decent job. Paid £75 in 2021 so this new price seems extortionate.

Mein in ein Sideboard (mit Tür) eingebauter AV-Receiver des Typs YAMAHA A2080 bleibt auch nach stundenlangem Betrieb angenehm kühl. Die temperaturgesteuerte Automatik schaltet den Lüfter bedarfsgerecht ein. Dieser verrichtet bis zur (vorwählbaren) dritten Lüftungsstufe unhörbar seinen Dienst und bläst die Warmluft hinten zur offenen Rückwand des Sideboards hinaus. Ein wirklich exzellent verarbeitetes Gerät mit mattschwarzer eingebrannten Pulverbeschichtung des stabilen Stahlblechgehäuses. Der Lüfter passt auch optisch zu sehr hochwertigen AV-Komponenten, denn es handelt sich um keinen China-Kram. Von mir gibt es 5 Sterne!

Absolut geiles Gerät. Mein Marantz Receiver ist in einem geschlossenen Sideboard untergebracht. Hinten einfach die Öffnung in die Wand kopieren und die ganze Wärme geht ohne Probleme hinten raus. Ich kann laut Musik hören oder es bei Filmen krachen lassen, und der Aircom läuft nur auf Stufe 1. Wie es im Sommer ist kann ich noch nicht sagen, da er automatisch bei 31Grad einschaltet...

Sehr gute Verarbeitung, der Automatikmodus arbeitet sehr zuferlässig. Das Gerät wird auf voller Leistung schon recht laut, da der Lüfter bei mir aber maximal auf 1/4 Leistung schaltet störts mich nicht. 1 Stern Abzug gibt es lediglich wegen den zu hellen Led‘s der Leistungsanzeige, die werde ich wohl mit schwarzem Klebeband abdunkeln müssen.
