I was only looking for a budget-friendly roller and found this set. Not only are the foam rollers nice, the tray and liners have held up really well. We are doing a major overhaul touching up baseboards in the whole house and these have been great.

This 4-inch mini paint roller kit is a convenient option for small projects and touch-ups. The kit comes with everything you need right out of the box, which is helpful if you don’t already have painting supplies on hand. Not to mention the kit is better priced than buying the rollers alone at a local store. The foam rollers apply paint smoothly and work well on doors, and trim, leaving a fairly even, lint-free finish. I painted my stairs and one roller held up for the whole project. The tray and frame are functional and lightweight yet sturdy. Overall, this kit is decent for quick touch-ups or small DIY projects and very useful in a pinch.

Surprisingly good for just over $8. The roller handle is small, but large enough and sturdy. The foam rollers fit nicely on the roller handle and roll easily, and spread paint just like you would want. I have not seen any evidence of the foam rollers falling apart or shedding pieces of foam. The included paint tray and disposable tray liner are well made. The one negative - advertised as coming with two tray liners. There was only in my package. There really should be 4 or 5 not just two and definitely not just one.

We needed to touch up some areas on our exterior wall after a pool heater fire. With some great prep work, these rollers performed great. We didn’t want roller texture marks and these left not texture marks after rolling. The rollers were the perfect size for the job to spread the paint evenly with maximum control. The entire kit is a great deal for what we needed and can be used for several projects. Thank you

Great quality for the price - was looking for a smaller roller for painting small projects and this worked perfectly.

If you plan to roll polyurethane, be sure to thin it first. Foam rollers makes lots of bubbles and these are no different. These thick rollers soak up a lot of material so they are good for transferring poly to the work surface and spreading it out. I used a foam brush to wipe the bubbles away after applying. I had no problems with quality. They hold up fine with no sign of deterioration or contamination. They may be cleanable, but I just tossed mine after use.

I'd give this more than 5 stars if I could. I found the quality of the foam rollers to be great both when painting and cleaning up. They only way to improve this kit is to give more than 1 liner :) But you can get liners on the Mister Rui store page. The foam rollers are easy to paint with and give good coverage.
