Arrived safely and already used a couple of times for the perfect dippy egg! Very happy with my purchase. It works well and seems nice quality.

Alarm doesnt work, it just ticks then stops. Pointless!!

I like the clean design, arty enough to display on a shelf rather than hide in a cupboard. Very easy to read and use, bearing in mind you wind it all the way to 60 mins, then back to the time you want. I'll happily use it as a general timer - for when to add soap to my dishwasher etc - but not for timing soft boiled eggs which need real accuracy. I tested it against my mobile phone and my oven timer and for a 10 minute test it was slow by a little over 30 seconds which isn't bad for what I need but on a 15 minute test it was slow by nearly 3 minutes. No instructions as to how to turn it off when the alarm starts to ring, I had to wait until it had run out of steam!

Must have for dippy eggs
