A top quality item significantly safer than the last unit from a different manufacturer.
The last heat lamp surround that I purchased from the manufacturer 'Prorep' decided it would melt inside my bearded dragons vivarium, aside from smouldering and causing toxic plastic smoke it also melted the bulb which caused the bulb to drop onto the ground of the vivarium which also happened to be a Prorep bulb, thankfully I was home when this happened.My biggest concern was naturally for my beardy, I urgently needed a new bulb and a heat lamp and living in the middle of nowhere I did panic slightly. Thankfully I ordered one of these and it arrived the next day with a 150watt bulb. The difference in quality is evident, there's no plastic to melt, it's covered in ceramic which disperses the heat, there's no hot spots on the surround like my last one and the exoterra bulb feels hotter which is a bonus.I can't thank them enough for getting this to me for the day after and I am now a firm exoterra customer.

This works well
This glow light is much better than the previous one we bought - also exo terra. The previous one had a dodgy on/off switch, but this one works well. Also stays illuminated for quite a while after turning off the lamp which helps our tortoise get into bedtime mode.

Not bad
Not bad but I haven’t seen it glow yet I’m using a red heat bulb and it heats my 45w x 45d x 60h terrarium well

Great product
Had no problems so far...been using for 3 weeks. Glow doesn't last very long after you switch it off, but I like only having to have the one light rather than several.

Exo Terra Medium Glo Light and Reflector
I have used one of these for at least 3 years and have never had a problem with it. It is easy to use and requires no maintenance. My tree frogs love the warmth it pprovides. I have just purchased a small Glo Light for my gecko. Obviously, you have to use it as the instructions on the box recommend.

Bought for bearded dragon enclosure……
Very disappointed, second one of these bought this year & both have stopped working, this one after only two months, so looking for a third light now. Only use a 100w bulb in it. It’s an expensive hobby😞

Doesn't state plug fitting in listing
Reading through the questions it states if it's shipped from the UK to another UK address, it will have the 3 prong plug. Mine did not so had to use an adapter I luckily had in the house (poor GHDs). It does glow after the light goes off for a little while.
