Works like a champion. My quantum meter of seven years has finally gone to that electrical place in the sky i purchased it as an open box Item on Amazon for 80 bucks now I need a new one, and I will never spend $500 for an apogee after I've had a cheap one that was the same as the apogee. Shane from my grow made a video of it. I recorded my like distance and par readings before the meter died, so I know the distance. Because my light is just as old as the meter was. I gave this one a shot, and sure enough at that distance that my old meter was this was pulling off almost identical numbers. I knew from that point that it was accurate. The functions are easy, very user friendly and the spectrum value is a plus if they're accurate. I have no way of knowing, but for the price. This is awesome. Now the durability might be a little different. It feels a little lightweight, cheapy, but hey, take care of your things. Its what inside that makes me like it. good product for giving me an idea of where my ppfd is at, i didn’t wanna spend 400$ on an abvee sensor so i went with this. I can’t vouch for the accuracy of the product because i don’t have a second sensor to verify the numbers with. Very Easy set up and overall good product in my opinion.

Quite easy to use, settles on a reading quickly, and gives consistent readings with little noise. For the price, this is great. I don't have another PAR meter to compare it to, but based on readings I've taken from other lights that I have quantified, this seems to be pretty close to the $500 meter I rented a while back. One feature that I wish that they'd incorporated would be the ability to use it as a true daylight exposure meter, where you leave it in one place throughout the light cycle and it provides the DLI for that exposure time. Right now the app does have a DLI calculator, which certainly is nice for situations where light is constant, but that is based on the instantaneous reading and the number of hours you enter into the calculator. If this functionality was added to the app, this would be a really exceptional piece of kit.

This small little device works perfectly for what it’s intended to do. I grow inside of a tent indoors and it measures the light exactly the way that I would needed to it only uses one battery and it seems to last for a while and it’s a very good price compared to other sensors .

Should have gotten this years ago. Really works very well on LED grow lights. Sound investment. Stop burning your plants and know exactly how much par and ppfd and DLI. If you know you know .

I got this meter to insure my greenhouse plants were getting the light they needed. According to the meter my plants were getting between 200-400 which was what they were calling for, and my plants got scorched. This is not an accurate meter.

Works great very simple to use. As far as I know, it’s reading what it’s supposed to. I have nothing to double check it with, but I know where it’s at so when I change the light setting, I know exactly how much I’m going up or down on intensity. easy to hook up to your cell phone very convenient I would recommend
