Sturdy Cast Iron Pan for Perfect Paniyaram
The Indus Valley pre-seasoned cast iron paniyaram pan is a great addition to the kitchen for making traditional paniyaram, appe and other small round snacks. The 12-pit design allows you to prepare multiple pieces at once, saving time during cooking. The cast iron construction feels sturdy and durable, while the pre-seasoned surface makes it more convenient to start using. When properly heated and maintained, it provides good heat retention and helps cook the paniyaram evenly with a nicely browned exterior. The loop handle makes the pan easier to handle, although it is important to use a thick cloth or heat-resistant handle cover because cast iron gets very hot. Regular drying and a light coating of oil after cleaning will also help prevent rust. It has more weight to need to handle with care. Considering quality it is value for money. Very useful for appe, perroyaram. It is not non stick as it made of cast iron.

Pit size is small in this model.
Wash and season (with oil ad onion) it before first use... wash and season it again if batter sticks to the pan... batter has to be in running condition (dosa batter condition with added tempered ingredients). Cook it at a low heat (sim mode) with lid covered... the pit size is very small (1.5" only) in this model... to avoid rusting apply oil after every use/wash... overall good one...
