Chicken Soup for the Woman's Soul

I have lots of Chicken Soup books! I buy at least one per year! I had been searching for a story I had read years ago about a German shepherd who appears and watches over a family in need. I finely found it in this book: "We are not alone". This is a great book- it warms your heart- true to the Chicken Soup reputation- always uplifting! Oh-by the way... this one is not just for women! Men can have their hearts warmed too!

Even though this book was not what i expected, i haven’t been able to put it down. Its an easy casual read and is a compilation of several short stories, this means its easy to pick it up and put it down during the day. Love the stories it contains and im enjoying reading it during my ‘working from home’ breaks.

Pick-me-ups for your down days, plus fun and thought provoking tales make for easy reading - lovely to share as a gift with all female friends. It also gets incorporated into poetry reading sessions at a care home where the stories are well received, giving rise to discussion and sometimes healthy debate. Good for everyone's soul, whatever the age.

I loved this. Truely up lifting. Loved the fact I can read one story at a time and none are very long. It means I can enjoy reading again as I have 2 small children and I find having only 5-10 mins at a time 2 myself means I don't get into novels or I forget storylines, so this book is perfect.

I bought myself one of these a while ago and occasionally dip in and out of it. I recently bought two more as gifts for my aunt and a friend - they are both delighted with these too. Just a lovely collection of feel-good stories to cheer you up or remind you there are still good people in the world, that kind of thing.

chicken soup books are just brilliant and perfect as gifts for those people who like motivational reads. bought this for a friend and she reads it at bed time.

For me personally, it wasn't as great as Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul, which my parents bought for me which I loved. Although the stories were interesting I didn't really connect with any of them, but that is probably just my taste. Some may enjoy it though!

Chicken Soup for the Womans Soul is a book each n every women should read. It gives us the clear definition of life, how people making their life more meaningful n useful in very small small things, making others special.

E' un libro composto da brevi storie che ti fanno riflettere e che ti danno una ricarica di energia molto positiva. Utilissimo per chi, come me, studia l'inglese e vuole esercitarsi nella lettura. Il linguaggio è molto semplice e piacevole. Non ci vogliono più di 5 minuti per leggere una storia (a volte meno). Quelle che mi colpiscono in qualche modo, rileggo più volte, usando il dizionario inglese-italiano (Collins) traduco qualche parola e così in modo assolutamente "indolore" imparo sempre di più. Ho visto che fra poco su Kindle ci saranno molti altri libri della serie "Chicken soup for the soul", li comprerò sicuramente!
