I ordered this for my mom before her cervical spine surgery because she was having a lot of pain and difficulty keeping her head up. She said this provided enough support to relieve the strain on her neck and (thus) her pain decreased. She was using this often in the weeks before her surgery.The product itself looks exactly as pictured, but keep in mind it's more pillow than hard brace. There is decent support (otherwise it wouldn't have worked for mom) but I would recommend an actual neck brace if you need extra support especially post-surgery (the post-op team really should be providing you with that though). This comes with a sheath, almost like a tiny made to fit pillowcase, which you can remove and wash. Recommend putting the sheath on before using the brace to keep the brace itself clean (you can only wipe the actual brace with a damp cloth, do not recommend throwing it in the washer/dryer).

This neck brace was a very good buy! I am using it for postural correction while performing day to day tasks and to keep my neck aligned when I sleep. (I habitually protrude my neck too far forward which has caused chronic pain and a strain in my upper back near my shoudler blade.) It is great for screen time: also use at the computer and on IPad - it keeps me from tilting my head too far down and slumping. I wear it when I sleep as well as I often contort my neck while sleeping and then wake up in pain. It is firm enough to offer support but yet comfortable. I like the fact that it is highly adjustable also.

Neck Brace Cervical Collar is useful! It takes a little getting used to, give it a try because it does help with stretching your neck and helping the nerve and the curve. If you suffer from neck pain this is a good tool to help relieve pain and begin healing. I use a few things to help with neck pain and this is one of them. It better than going to the chiropractor the expense and time is saved and you can do it every day if needed!

I have a pinched nerve in my upper cervical spine. I have been trying to avoid surgery, but the pain is so bad that sometimes I think I will have to have it. Looking for other options, I found this neck brace. It has been helping a lot. Interestingly, I think it helps the most at night when I must move my head in my sleep. That used to wake me up (often!) -- but now I am sleeping though the night. I wear it on days where I'm really hurting (like today), and it definitely helps.

I like the fabric. It kept my neck in a fairly comfortable position but required adjusting off and on while wearing. (It had a tendency to shift and slide) Helped me to be more comfortable so I could get a little more sleep after my injury. Did not stop the pain, just made it a bit more tolerable. It sat a little too high on me and irritated my jaw line a little. It kind of itched too but my skin is sensitive. Guess my neck isn't very tall. Over all it pretty much did what it was supposed to and helped me get through an acute episode. The brace I was given at the medical center was horrible and made me hurt more so this was a decent replacement. Glad I purchased it.

I have degenerative disc disease. Worse in Cervical spine area. This neck brace is perfect for use while sleeping. My neck pain would be worse during sleeping because I could never find a position that support my neck in a comfortable correct position. This brace worked very well for me. I have had it for a week and have had 7 days of more comfortable sleep, because the neck pain is not waking me up. I am ordering another brace for my husband, because he also has the same problem.

I really like my new neck brace. I’ve been having a lot of problems with my neck due to arthritis. Are usually only during the day I found it would not be comfortable for me to sleep in it, but I have extreme problems in my neck, and this may not be the case for everyone.I’m also very impressed with the company that sold this to me, they included a card stating they’re customer service, goals, and standing behind behind their product…in this day and age of Internet purchases this is very rare too see. I got the neck brace after reading reviews that it may help with my neck pain. I have neck pain after a car accident and being on a computer often. I can't say for sure that it helped my pain as I also was doing neck stretches along with yoga. After about a month though, my neck pain is so much better. The neck brace is very easy to put on and it is very comfortable.
