In a black finish which is anti-corrosion treated. High performance alloy steel, ERGO handles with 2-component combination, thermoplastic surface on tough polypropylene which gives superior grip. Induction hardened cutting edges. These pliers have progressive which mean the cutting radius progresses along the edge in order to cut hard material like piano wire close to the joint and soft materials like copper and plastic insulated wire at the tip. The distance from the joint to the centre of the cutting edges is reduced: giving greater leverage and increased cutting capacity. Round shaped jaws give improved accessibility in confined spaces. Review: Best cutters I used - These will be my 4th pair of Bahco cutters in 20 years. I still have my first pair for my home toolbox, the second pair I was ambitious at work cutting some large diameter wire, just like I've been doing with the first pair, but this pair broke off at the tip of the cutters and only in the first few days of getting them! so a replacement was sent making these the 3rd pair. These were just as good as the 1st and I've been cropping through cables & screws happily until they must have gone out with a truck full of scrap at the tip and therefore lost, hence I'm on the 4th pair which are still going great. The first pair still cuts just as good as the newest 4th pair, so the metal cutting edge hardness Bahco do is spot on. The 210mm give that bit more leverage when cropping screws & small bolts so your hand doesn't do all the leveraging. They probably would be able to cut through but this would impact the life of them. **Q: Are these Chinese copies?** A: Sadly, some Bahco tools are now made in China. Knippex seem dedicated to European production.
