Worth Every Penny
I have extremely curly hair, and this straightener straightens every piece of my hair. This tool puts out a lot of heat while not burning my face from the heat which comes off the iron. I have very thick shoulder length hair, and I am able to straighten my hair in 15 minutes with this iron because of only needing to pass over one section of hair once to straighten it. This tool is worthy every bit of the money I paid!!

Great for international use
Our family purchased this to take on an international trip. We were afraid to take a pricier flat iron and have it either short circuit or lost. This worked as intended. We used it in Spain with an adapter. Our only complaint is that it did not work as well as the higher end flat iron we had at home, but for the price, ease of use, ability to use internationally I would highly recommend. Our family shared one on the trip, it worked fine on different hair textures. Just took a little longer.

Disappointed in long term use
Always have loved Lange. But this one and ny last straightener have gotten to where they get a film on them after a few uses. I’m getting disappointed in the brand big time.

Heating element faulty
This flat iron worked well for a few weeks. I bought it to take abroad since it’s dual voltage. I came home and noticed it was not heating as well. I have to crank it up to maximum and still does not heat up like it should. Too late to return.

As Good as the Expensive One
I bought this as a dupe of the $150 iron my hairdresser uses and it’s been great. Heats quickly and feels nice in hand. The plates are smooth and don’t pull.

Solid iron that does the job
I bought the L'ANGE HAIR Aplatir Ceramic Flat Iron to replace my previous flat iron, which had stopped working. It took me a while to choose one, but after reading reviews on Google and seeing the $40 price, I decided to give this one a try. It wasn't just the price that sold me, it was the reviews. I have straight hair, but it gets kinks from humidity and from sleeping. I really like the sturdiness of this flat iron, the shorter cord (I don't need a 9-foot cord), and the overall quality for the price. It smooths my hair out in the first pass. I like my hair very straight, so I do run it through a couple of times, but it glides smoothly through my hair without any tugging. My last flat iron lasted about two years, so I'll be happy if this one lasts that long. So far, I really like it and would recommend it. The first photo is before and then the after.
